Additions and changes have Ueen n1adc at intervals since that date, the latest amend· ments having been adopted in Augnst, 1921. This code has been adopted by th_e In<lustl'ial Con1mission in discharge of its duties under Sections 101.01 to 101.28 inclusive, of the statutes of Wisconsin. It supplements the requirement of Section 101.05, to the effect that "e,·ery employer and every owner of a place of .\. employment and a public building now or hereafter constructed shall so construct, repair or maintain such place of employment or public building and every architect shall so prepare the plans for the construction of such place of employment or public l building as to render the san1e safe."
