Disciplinary Board Reporter DISCIPLINARY BOARD REPORTER Report of Lawyer Discipline Cases Decided by the Disciplinary Board and by the Oregon Supreme Court for 2012 VOLUME 26 January 1, 2012, to December 31, 2012 PREFACE This Disciplinary Board Reporter (DB Reporter) contains final decisions of the Oregon Disciplinary Board, stipulations for discipline between accused lawyers and the OSB, summaries of 2012 decisions of the Oregon Supreme Court involving the discipline of lawyers, and related matters. Cases in this DB Reporter should be cited as 26 DB Rptr ___ (2012). In 2012, a decision of the Disciplinary Board was final if neither the Bar nor the Accused sought review of the decision by the Oregon Supreme Court. See Title 10 of the Bar Rules of Procedure (page 43 of the OSB 2012 Resource Directory or www.osbar.org, click on Rules, Regs & Policies) and ORS 9.536. The decisions printed in this DB Reporter have been reformatted and corrected for typographical errors, but no substantive changes have been made to them. Because of space restrictions, most exhibits are not included but may be obtained by calling the Oregon State Bar. The HMMA nominations have historically been representative of the nominees of Key awards shows that occur months later. HMMA nominees are chosen in specific genres for film, TV and videogame including dramatic feature, sci-fi/ fantasy, documentary and animation. HMMA nominees represent visual music from around the world including Spain, UK, Argentina, France, Norway and Australia. This year, HMMA has added the category, “Best Music Documentary.” The new award recognizes a documentary about music that educates, exemplifies the process, and/or displays the impact of music. The 2017 HMMA event will be held at The Avalon Hollywood 1735 Vine Street on Thursday, November 16, 2017. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Education Through Music - Los Angeles (ETMLA).
