Topic 27: ELECTION OF TWO MEMBER COUNTRIES TO FILL THE VACANCIES ON THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE CREATED BY THE TERMINATION OF THE PERIODS OF OFFICE OF CHILE AND THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Pursuant to Article 13-A of the Constitution of the Pan American Sanitary Organization, the Executive Committee

"shall be composed of seven Member GCvernments elected by the Council for overlapping terms of three years... A Member Government shall not be eligible for reelection to the Executive Committee until one year has elapsed."

The following chart shows the composition of the Executive Com- mittee together with the expiration dates of the terms of the present Members:
