PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac, Jr. identified the suspect as Saidar Gampong, 31 years old, married, and a resident of Quarry, New Labangan, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur. Elements of PDEA Regional Office 9 (PDEA RO 9) under Director Joseph Ladip, in collaboration with Pagadian Police Station, Zamboanga del Sur Provincial anti-illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force (PAIDSOTF) and Regional Public Safety Battalion 9, arrested Gampong in his residence in New Labangan at around 9:30 in the morning on the strength of a warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Rolando Goan, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 21, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur. Gampong yielded two plastic sachets of methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu, and one mobile phone during the operation.     ZAMBOANGA PENINSULA PRIORITY PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS FOR RESOURCE MOBILIZATION December 2015 FOREWORD This document is the output of the Regional Development Council (RDC) IX Secretariat’s effort to push the development of the region by facilitating the identifi cation of the priority interventions that need the support of donor agencies, policymakers, particularly the region’s congressional representatives, national government agencies, and the Mindanao Development Authority. It is largely based on the submissions of ZamPen’s regional line agencies and local government units. Following a set of RDC-approved criteria, the projects identifi ed shall sail the region towards its vision of becoming the Southern Agri-Fisheries Corridor of the Philippines. [ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 936 O ] AN ACT CREATING ANOTHER CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT IN THE PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA SIBUGAY,AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED EIGHTY-NINE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-THREE, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS THE CHARTER OF THE PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA SIBUGAY Be if enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled: SECTION1. Section 7 of Republic Act No. 8973 is hereby amended to read as follows: “SEC. 7. Congressional District. - The present Third District of the Province of Zamboanga del Sur shall constitute the Province of Zamboanga Sibugay which shall be divided into two (2) congressional districts as follows: “District I - Buug, Diplahan, Malangas, Imelda, Alicia, Mabuhay, Olutanga, Talusan and Payao. “District I1 - Siay, Kahasalan, Naga, Ipil, Titay, R.T. Lim and Tungawan. 2 ‘The Province of Zamboanga del Sur shall retain the two (2) legislative districts as follows: “District I - Pagadian City, Labangan, Tukuran, Aurora, Molava, Mahayag, Dumingag, Suminot, Midsalip, Ramon Magsaysay, Tambulig, Josefina. “District I1 - Uayog, Lakewood, Kumalarang, Tigbao, Dumalinao, Guipos, San Miguel, Lapuyan, Margosatubig, Dinas, San Pablo, Tabina, Dimataling, Vincenzo Sagun, Pitogo.” SEC. 2. All laws, executive orders, regulations or parts thereof, inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, are hereby repealed or modified accordingly. SEC.3. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in at least two newspapers of general circulation in the Philippines. Information on other aspects of well-being is generally obtained from representative health surveys, national population and housing censuses, and others. However, these surveys and censuses are (i) too costly to be replicated frequently; (ii) conducted at different time periods, making it impossible to get a comprehensive profile of the different socio-demographic groups of interest at a specific point in time; and (iii) have sampling designs that do not usually correspond to the geographical disaggregation needed by local government units (LGUs).
