John died 14 June 1936 in Randolph Co. He was not found in 1910, but in 1920 he was living at Lineville, Clay Co (page 207A) as William J Grizzle (and was living between two McCreary families). He had married late in 1911 and had two living children by June 1917 when he registered for the draft in Navarro Co (his name was given as L Lytle Manning Grizzle). His wife was Nellie Ardelia Duncan, born 26 January 1893 in TX, daughter of Noah Marion Duncan from TN and Melinda Frances Herd from AL, and died 29 January 1975 in Tarrant Co TX. She was buried at Fort Worth. Manning was both a farmer and a Baptist preacher. They lived at Mabank, Kaufman Co TX in 1930. Lytle and Nellie had eleven chil- dren- 1.
