She must have told John then, or perhaps she had repeated this countless times before, that John should do what Jesus said. at the foot of the cross we have the old family and the new STEWARDSHIP family. Mary is part of both. View this bulletin online at www.DiscoverMass.com The International Outreach Ministry (IOM) would like to thank the people of St James, Cornelius & Cyprian for the overwhelming support of our brothers and sisters in Uganda. Through your generous donations, the IOM was able to send $3000 to Uganda to purchase school desks for the parish school. Father Godfrey and the students are delighted and so very grateful for the continued generosity.

If you would like more information about the Interna- tional Outreach Ministry or how you can continue to support their efforts, please contact Sue Powers [email protected].

The Christian Service Committee would like to thank everyone who saved their personal travel items to give to our collection for EVE- a domestic abuse home for women and children. We made up 150 personal bags in June to take to the cen- ter. Each personal bag contains a wash cloth, shampoo, conditioner, soap, body lotion, tooth brush, tooth paste, deodorant, and a comb & brush. We also collect- ed 5 boxes of other personal items that were given to the center.

Times change and our donation to Eve will also change. After talking with Eve, it has been decided that the Christian Service Committee will give a monetary do- nation so Eve can purchase the items that they need instead of doing the person- al bags. Eve will use the donations to purchase large size personal-care items. At Eve’s request, we will no longer be collecting sample or miscellaneous items.

Thank you for the support & help in the past, Rosemary Soulliere, Chairperson
