Second Grade Summer Reading

Each incoming second graders is required to read a minimum of four books, chosen from the above series.
When classes resume in the fall, each student will take an Accelerated Reader (AR) Test on at least one of the titles he/she read. A class project will also be completed on one of the books read. Each series has a variety of reading levels and interest levels to choose from. Enjoy your reading adventures this summer!

Third Grade Summer Reading
Each incoming third grader is required to read at least three chapter books. One MUST be a Magic Tree House book, the other two can be chosen from the list below. Please select a book within your child’s current reading level. At the beginning of the year, each third grader will do a project over a Magic Tree House book he/she/ selected.
