As you know, Richland High School is a vital part of our community-- its students, families, and faculty contribute to our area in many ways. Some of Richland’s best ambassadors are the Johnny Rebs (J-Rebs). With a 30-year tradition of excellence, outstanding upperclassmen are chosen to be student leaders and positive role models. Their job is to boost student morale, enhance school spirit, and create enthusiasm at Richland High School. In addition, it is expected that each J-Reb be a good corporate citizen and represent the very best Richland has to offer.

The J-Rebs support all activities and the student body at RHS. They understand that school spirit is directly related to self-esteem, a sense of purpose, and unity for a cause. This year it will be our goal build on the tradition of excellence that already exists. We have great traditions to live up to, and our hope is to create an even greater sense of unity and spirit among our student body and in the community.

This year’s campaign will require commitment, discipline, and heart from our team members. It will also require approximately $4,500 to be spent on school events that include many students. Thus, we look to the “FRIENDS OF THE J-REBS,” which includes area businesses, former and current Johnny Rebs, RHS alumni, parents, and students.

Your donation of $50 will make a difference. Please consider helping us spread our influence and do more this year. In return for your generosity, each “Friend of the J-Rebs” will be named on the back of over 200 hundred shirts shot into the crowds at home sporting events and will receive our Sponsorship Decal. In addition, we also ensure that you will be given a receipt for tax purposes. Please make checks payable to RICHLAND HIGH SCHOOL with a note on the memo , “Friends of the J-Rebs.”
