Permanent Route Diversion on NWFB Routes 23A, 26 and 81

(3 December 2009 , )Effective 5 December 2009 (Saturday), permanent route diversion will be made on New World First Bus (“NWFB”) Routes 23A, 26 and 81. Details are as follows:

Route 23A will detour via after Garden Road and then follow its original routeing to Lai Tak Tsuen. A new bus stop will be located on Garden Road outside St. John Cathedral. Meanwhile, all en-route stops located along Lower Albert Road, and will be cancelled.

Route 26 will detour via Irving Street and Pennington Street after and then follow its original routeing to . A new bus stop will be located on Irving Street opposite to Regal Hong Kong Hotel, and the bus stop located on Pennington Street outside Caroline Centre will be cancelled.

Route 81 will detour via Tung Lo Wan Road, Tung Lo Wan Drive and Road after King’s Road and then follow its original routeing to Lai Tak Tsuen. New bus stops will be located on King’s Road outside Island Place, Metropole Building, Winner House, Tung Lo Wan Road opposite to Queen’s College and opposite to Chinese Recreation Club. Meanwhile, the bus stops located on King’s Road outside Healthy Gardens, after Kam Hong Street, outside Mary Court, outside New Trend Plaza, Causeway Road near Queen’s College, Irving Street opposite to Regal Hong Kong Hotel and Tung Lo Wan Road opposite to St. Paul’s Hospital will be cancelled. In addition, the Hing Wah Estate-bound services of Route 81 will detour via Causeway Road after Moreton Terrace and then follow its original routeing. The bus stop on Irving Street opposite to Regal Hong Kong Hotel will be cancelled.
