It is located on the south bank of the Menominee River, at its mouth at Green Bay, part of Lake Michigan; to the north is Stephenson Island (Wisconsin), part of the city preserved as park. During the lumbering boom of the late 19th century, Marinette became the tenth-largest city in Wisconsin in 1900, with its peak population of 16,195.

NIAGRA Niagara is a city in Marinette County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,624 at the 2010 census. The city lies to the north of and adjacent to the Town of Niagara. It is part of the Marinette, WI–MI Micropolitan Statistical Area. The city of Niagara was founded in 1900 on the banks of the Menominee River. Niagara is an Iroquois word that means “thundering waters”, which is also used in the famous Niagara Falls, between New York and the Canadian province of Ontario.

PESHTIGO Peshtigo is a city in Marinette County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 3,502 at n 1853 the city of Marinette had a population of 478, with over half of the I the 2010 census. Its name is biblical for fruitful and the fertile soil of the area attracted many residents. Churches, schools and warehouses were constructed and the area continued to thrive. The community owned the first motorized fire truck in Door County, purchased in 1934 and is widely recognized as being the only community in Wisconsin that prohibits the manufacturing and sale of liquor.

FORESTVILLE Forestville was established in 1857 as settlers traveled along the Ahnapee River. Most of the Hannahville Indian Community Indian reservation is located within Harris Township. The first post office was established on July 8, 1880 named “DeLoughary” after George W. DeLoughary, a local farmer. Menominee (County Seat) Menominee is a city in the Upper Peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 8,599 at the 2010 census. Menominee is the fourth-largest city in the Upper Peninsula, behind Marquette, Sault Ste. Marie, and Escanaba. The city was named after a Native American tribe known as the Menominee, meaning wild rice. The city started as a lumber town in the 19th century and produced more lumber than any other city in the United States. In 1910 the Dudly Tool Company started to produce the gas powered cyclecar called the Dudly Bug. Today the economy of Menominee is based on tourism, manufacturing paper products, wicker lawn furniture and auto supplies. Run cool water over the burned area for 5 minutes, or until the pain diminishes. Never put ice on a burn! Bandage the burn with sterile gauze: It is important to use loosely wrapped gauze. This will avoid pressure and the bandage protects blisters. NEVER put lotions, vaseline, ointments or butter on burn. Do not break any blisters, which can cause infection.

Take Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Naproxen or Acetaminophen to relieve pain: Minor burns usually heal with these basic treatments. Be aware for signs of infection which may include: increased pain, redness, fever, swelling or oozing. If symptoms develop, seek medical help. Avoid tanning the burned area for at least a year. Protect the area with sunscreen outdoors. Avoid giving aspirin to children.
