WatchBigSky.com 2 2019-20 Big Sky Women’s Basketball 2019-20 BIG SKY WOMEN’S BASKETBALL CenturyLink Arena March 9-13, 2020 About CenturyLink Arena For the fifth-straight season, all Big Sky members will compete in the conference tournament with the field featuring 11 teams for both the men and women in 2020. The top five teams in the final regular season standings will earn a bye to the quarterfinal round of the Big Sky Championship.The six-day event will be held in the Boise, Idaho for the second consecutive year. CenturyLink Arena has a 5,000 seat arena bowl that brings all fans right on top of the action and offering the intimate atmosphere for your favorite event. Located in downtown Boise, the arena hosts an average of 100 events annually and has welcomed over 5.5 million attendees in 20 years. It also hosts numerous concerts, trade shows, and conventions each year. CenturyLink Arena is attached to the Grove Hotel. BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION Per a March 22, 2019 guidance memo from the Division of Financial Management (DFM) and Division of Human Resources, “[p]ay increases for [agency] directors will be determined by the Governor. For those reporting to a Board or Commission, the governing board shall make a recommendation in a letter to the Governor for his review by May 6, 2019.” Idaho Code §33-102A provides that [t]he state board of education is hereby authorized to appoint an executive officer of the state board who … shall receive such salary as fixed by the state board.” The Board’s recommended salary change for its Executive Director was sent to DFM on April 23, 2019. Pursuant to Board Policy I.E.2.d., the administrator of the Division of Career Technical Education, the administrator of the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, and the general manager of Idaho Public Television “are evaluated by the Executive Director annually, who makes recommendations to the Board with respect to compensation and employment.” The Board’s Executive Director has completed annual performance evaluations for these agency heads and transmitted salary recommendations to DFM on or before May 2, 2019.

The adjacent diving well will provide 6 x 25 M lanes for continuous warm up and warm down. The competition pool has been certified according to articles 104.2.2 C (4) USAS rules and regulations. The copy of such certification is on file with USA Swimming. Colorado System Timing and Scoreboard will be used. The use of any propane heater(s) is strictly prohibited anywhere at this venue site. Overnight parking is not allowed on CUSD property. No animals are allowed on school grounds, except for service animals. All paper work for service animals should be on file with the CUSD District Office before 5:00pm of Thursday preceding the meet.
