MAJOR WORKS CONSISTED OF:
− Construction of Kam Tin Sewage Pumping Station, Sha Po Sewage Pumping Station and Nam Sang Wai Sewage Pumping Station
− Construction of app. 6.6 km long sewers of diameters ranging from 300 to 1200mm at Kam Tin and Nam Sang Wai of which approximately 0.9 km long sewers to be laid by trenchless technique
− Construction of app. 5.7 km long twin rising Sheet piling for pumping station mains of diameters ranging from 250 to 900mm at Kam Tin and Nam Sang Wai of which approximately 0.9 km long twin rising mains to be laid by trenchless technique
− Construction of approximately 0.9 km long sewers of diameters ranging from 300 to 900mm at Au Tau of which approximately 0.2 km long sewers to be laid by trenchless technique
− Landscaping works associated with Kam Tin Sewage Pumping Station, Sha Po Sewage Pumping Station and Nam Sang Wheel washing bay and waste water treatment facility Wai Sewage Pumping Station
− Preservation and protection of trees within the site, tree felling and transplantation work associated with the construction of sewage pumping stations, and sewer and rising mains laying works; and
− Any other ancillary works associated with items above including manholes, chambers, road works, footways, fences, gates and the like.
