Residents came out to vote on October 16, 2017 in Division 1, Division 5 and Division 6 during the 2017 Lacombe County Municipal elections. Division 1 elected new councillor, John Ireland, with Councillor Ken Wigmore and Councillor Keith Stephenson returning for another term in their respective divisions. Funding Allotment & Allocation: Funding will be based on $0.75 per capita based on the current year official population of Lacombe County and the urban municipalities within the County, with a $1,000 minimum allotment per town or village, and a $500 minimum allotment per summer village.
