The Federal government requires grant recipients to provide a DUNS number. DUNS numbers should be free of charge; however, there may be a charge to expedite your request. If you do not have a DUNS number you may obtain one by contacting Dun and Bradstreet.

Dun and Bradstreet Numbers. Generally, it takes 5-10 minutes to obtain a DUNS number by telephone. DUNS numbers are not available by telephone for Latin America and the Caribbean, except Mexico; please visit the Dun and Bradstreet website at http://www.dnbla.com to obtain one.

Dun and Bradstreet On-line Request Form. Generally, it takes 48 hours to obtain a DUNS number on-line. You may complete the request form on-line and submit it electronically. Latin American organizations may the request form to 954-577-4546, if desired.

Dun and Bradstreet Sites. Generally, it takes 30 working days to obtain a DUNS number through the Internet. However, DUNS numbers requested for Latin America and the Caribbean may be expedited and generally, received within 10 days.
