ENVIRONMENTAL IMPLICATIONS SUMMARY

A delineation of wetlands located both on-site and on adjacent parcels should be completed prior to any development of this site. Based on the mapping resources it is apparent that both federal and State regulated wetlands are present on or adjacent to the site and hydric soils are readily available. Any impacts to regulated wetlands in the future will require a permit and project review by the USACE and NYSDEC. Potential project review and permitting may need to occur if any future work will be located within a NYSDEC regulated wetland or its 100-foot buffer zone. Depending on the acreage of impacts caused by development of the site, wetland or stream mitigation could be required. Mitigation requirements generally are applicable when greater than 0.10-acre of wetland are permanently disturbed. A cultural/historic resource review should be completed on-site prior to any development. A threatened and endangered species habitat assessment should also be completed on site prior to development.
