When he was not on the hill, he was playing left field where he hit .315 and smacked 1 home runs. - Originally committed to play baseball at Brigham Young University before deciding to sign with the Giants organization. He also played in the 2011 Little League World Series and struck out Nick Pratto (14th overall pick in the 2017 MLB Draft). Played football his entire high school career even after he tore his ACL leading up to his junior season.
