C.\RSON C11•y (Saturday), February 7, 1920. Pursuant to proclamation issued by the Governor on the 27th day of January, 1920, the A sembly was called to order by D. J. Fitzgerald, Speaker of the House of the 'l\venty-ninth Session of the Assembly, at 11 a. m., J. H. Causten, acting as Chief Clerk. Mr. Speaker instructed the acting Chief Clerk to read the proclama­ tion of the Governor calling the extraordinary session. Mr. Uniacke, chairman of committee to notify the Governor, reported that the committee had performed its duty. The Governor arrived. Mr. Lockhart moved, duly seconded, that a committee be appointed to invite the Senate to meet in joint session with the Assembly for the reading of the Governor's message.
