FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE PRESTIGE PARTNERS WITH ERIC BASS OF SHINEDOWN TO RELEASE SIGNATURE BASS

Prestige Guitars Ltd. And Eric Bass of Shinedown, are proud to announce the launch of the Prestige Eric Bass Signature Bass. The Eric Bass Signature Bass will feature an offset, double cutaway solid Ash body, with bolt-on, one-piece hard maple neck. The body has a flat top and back in order to increase the body mass resulting in huge punchy tone and tons of sustain, and we opted for a thinner neck profile for faster action and increased playability. Pickups and hardware will include a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound single coil pickup for aggressive attack with strong bottom end and more mids, Hipshot 4 string A-Style Bridge and Hipshot HB 7 Tuning Machines. The bass will be released with two finish options; Satin Trans Dark Red with black binding and matching black pickguard, and Satin Arctic White with Mother of Pearl Binding and matching Mother of Pearl pickguard. Designing and redesigning, perfecting a bass that is exactly what Eric wants and needs both onstage and in the studio. Eric has toured for the past year and a half with various prototypes of Prestige basses, and this design is the result of real-world R&D. He played these basses in every type of venue imaginable, before we settled on the final design. It is road tested and road ready, which is a great thing as Shinedown is at the top of their game, in the midst of a major world tour supporting ‘Attention Attention’, their most recent release which has blown up! Eric also exclusively plays Prestige acoustic guitars. Prestige has served as his main acoustic since the entire US leg of the band’s “Threat to Survival” tour, which kicked off October 16th, 2015.

Eric Bass and Shinedown:
Eric Bass is the bass player of Florida based rock band Shinedown. He also produced and mixed the bands’ latest record “Attention Attention” which was released in fall 2018. Formed in 2001 in Jacksonville, Florida, Shinedown has released 6 studio albums to date: “Leave a Whisper” (2003), “Us and Them” (2005), “The Sound of Madness” (2008), “Amaryllis” (2012) and “Threat to Survival” (2015) and “Attention Attention” (2018). Shinedown has sold more than ten million records worldwide, and now has the most number one singles on the Billboard Mainstream Rock charts, passing Van Halen (13) and Three Days Grace (14).The rock band has had a string of Gold and Platinum albums and singles including 2008’s “Second Chance” which reached 3 x Platinum, spent 3 weeks at Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned the band an “American Music Awards” nomination for Best Alternative Rock Band in 2009.
