Come and pick up your brush for Chinese and Wash !

Dear Parents,

There are lots of reasons for your children to know and use Chinese ink and wash painting for pictures. That is why I highly recommend my after-school class!

1. Building Minds and Cultivating Gentility Learning about traditional authentic gives your children a life-long benefit. Traditional Chinese combine realistic and imaginary pictures. Different from presenting directly an appearance of the real world, it describes totally different imagery than western painting and emphasizes painters’ own creativity from their inner world. It is based on a refining and generalized image. Allow your child to add a more artistic temperament to their character. 2. Building Patience and Focus Modifying work is impossible after it is completed. Children need to be super focused and use their best judgment. 3. Building Insight and Appreciation for Natural Beauty In this 6-week session, children will learn how to draw plum blossoms, bamboo, grapes, little golden fish, lilies, etc. With my instruction, the little ones can let their imaginations run wild and also appreciate and create beauty. What a sweet moment we can capture! 4. Having Lots of Fun! Colorful , painting brushes, and wash painting works can let your child enjoy my program!

Spring Session - Class will be offered on Mondays at LILA’s Main Campus after school from 2:15-3:15pm, March 23-April 27. The make-up day, if needed, will be May 4.

Students should bring an old shirt for painting.
