FULLY ILLUSTRATED FROM GUSTAVE DORE REVISED EDITION. EDITED BY REV. J. B. McClure. CHICAGO: Rhodes & McClure Publishing Co. 1899 Entered according to act of Congress, in the year 1896 by the Rhodes & McClure Publishing Company, in the Office of the Librarian of Congress, Washington, D. C. All Rights Reserved. PREFACE. The breathless interest given to Mr. Moody's anecdotes while being related by him before his immense audiences, and their wonderful power upon the human heart, suggested to the compiler this volume, and led him to believe and trust that, properly classified and arranged in book form, they would still carry to the general reader a measure of their original potency for good. The best anecdotes have been selected and carefully compiled under appropriate headings, alphabetically arranged, making the many stories easily available for the private reader and public teacher. Mr. Moody's idiom has been strictly preserved. He tells the story. "Gold" will be found scattered through the volume, which includes Mr. Moody's terse declarations of many precious and timely truths. The compiler acknowledges the benefit received from the extended reports of the Tabernacle meetings given in the Daily press of Chicago, also the Hippodrome services reported in the New York papers, and the volume of Addresses revised by Mr. -

Interview with Nelly White
What have you been doing up until now? NELLY: I signed a deal with Arpej Yapım in the autumn of 2017. I’d pretty much had a finished album when having talks with them, and I’d spent two years completing that to the mastering stage. I was working as musician in the evening, and in between my daily life found time to record the album. I have a growing family and that took up a lot of energy. I decided to concentrate my efforts on producing the music that I had been writing since my teens and through to today. An amazing bunch of musician friends came together and played on the album. Those brilliant people didn’t take any money for their efforts, as they had heard what kind of music we were producing, and they were just happy to be a part of it with us. I also worked with Engin Kaan Günaydın, drummer of The New York Gypsy All Stars, and internationally recognised group playing Turkish Jazz Fusion. Nelly White At the end of the recording process the group went to Istanbul and played in Nardis Jazz Club, as virtual unknowns, but we had an amazingly warm reception from Zuhal Focan, her team and the audience, and Zuhal was really ignited by our music. Along the way during the albums’ mixing process, our sound engineer happened to play some of the tracks to Genco Arı, who instantly picked up on the music. He loved the sound we were producing and offered to get involved. When I heard this I was over the moon, and I believe that his influence in the album and the direction he took the songs, really made a massive difference to the final production. -

The RenegadeBakersfield College Rip Vol. 86 ∙ No. 11 www.therip.com Wednesday, March 18, 2015 ‘Rhinoceros’ hits the stage with absurdity By Amber Hayden Online Editor Despite all of the construction going on around the indoor the- ater, Kim Chin and her theater class managed to put on their production of “Rhinoceros.” The play, which is set during the time of the Nazi invasion into France, shows that instead of standing out and being different, that people were conforming in order to be safe. In an earlier interview with Chin, she had expressed the hopes of people who came to watch the play, and then they could apply what they saw to their modern day lives. The play is from theater of the absurd, which consists of main- ly 1950s European playwrights. The viewer can take the play in several different ways, but the main theme in Ionesco’s play was conformity. Cody Ferguson Gomez, who plays Berenger, along with Ryan Lee, who portrays Jean onstage, represents Miranda Jordan Chaves, who is conformity as he turns into a rhinoceros in the play. India: Latin America's Next Big Thing? Making Perspective.” Latin America's Next Big Thing?
INTEGRATION AND TRADE “This book makes an unprecedented contribution to understanding the past, present, and possible futures of economic relations between Latin America and India. Will these relations follow the same path taken by Latin America and China? If not, how might they differ? Using solid knowledge of economic history, hard-to-get data, and sound comparative analysis, the authors shed light on challenges that will be faced in India: coming years to intensify these relations, arguing that eventual success can be a win-win proposition. A book worth reading from both an academic and a policy- India: Latin America's Next Big Thing? making perspective.” Latin America's Next Big Thing? Fernando Henrique Cardoso, President of the Fernando Henrique Cardoso Institute Mauricio Mesquita Moreira (IFHC), Former President of Brazil Coordinator "India and Latin America are increasingly important actors on the global economic stage. Yet in terms of their engagement with each other, they could be likened to two giant ships passing in the night. India: Latin America's next big thing? poses a highly pertinent question and explains why the answer may well be affirmative sooner than we might guess. Thoroughly researched and clearly presented, this study examines C the major economic questions facing India and Latin America. By elucidating the M uneven and sequentially eccentric development paths both have taken, the study Y asks how their growing interaction could benefit each.
