HENRY LAWSON FESTIVAL GRENFELL 7th - 11th JUNE HENRY2018 LAWSON FESTIVAL FestivalGRENFELL Program WELCOME! The Grenfell Henry Lawson Festival of Arts Committee would like to warmly welcome everyone attending our Festival over the June long weekend in 2018. On behalf of the Committee, I would like to encourage all visitors to attend as many Festival events as possible and experience the best that Grenfell has to offer. This is the 61st consecutive Henry Lawson Festival and it is one of the longest running arts festivals in NSW. In 2018 we are looking forward to building on the strong history and success of past Festivals while embracing new interpretations of the arts. We have planned a diverse program of experiences, full of new elements and traditional favourites; a program that will showcase Grenfell, celebrate Henry Lawson and provide a variety of arts focused entertainment for all who attend. This year’s theme is ‘Poetry in Motion’ and we trust this theme will encourage a diverse array of floats in the street procession. It is hoped that this years’ Henry Lawson Festival will be one of enjoyment for all, one which draws people from a wide distance and one which promotes Grenfell in the broader community. The Committee believe that this year’s Henry Lawson Festival will be the best one yet and that the festival will continue to be a source of pride for the people of the Weddin Shire.
