We can’t wait to have you back on campus! Every resident student must process a housing application in order to be eligible for the next year’s Housing Selection process. This application, along with a $325 housing deposit, is to be completed online by February 1, 2017. The following pages provide a brief overview of each residence hall and the apartment-style accommodations. You also will find explanations of housing eligibility and housing guarantees in this brochure. The Panther Central website, pc.pitt.edu, has additional information on University housing and the Housing Selection process. Please refer to pages 19 and 20 of this document for the date and time you will need to log on to the website and submit a request for a specific room. -

UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH Panther Panther Central Central HOUSING SELECTION Process and Deadlines FALL TERM 2016 SPRING TERM 2017 Housing Services Dear Resident Student, Panther It is time to begin the housing application process for the 2016-17 Central school year. Every resident student must process a housing application in order to be eligible for the next year’s housing selection process. This application, along with a $325 housing deposit, is to be completed online by February 1, 2016. The following pages provide a brief overview of each residence hall and the apartment-style accommodations. You also will find explanations of housing eligibility and housing guarantees in this brochure. The Panther Central website, pc.pitt.edu, has additional information on University housing and the housing selection process. Please refer to pages 21 and 22 of this document for the date and time you will need to log on to the website and submit a request for a specific room. Your assigned date and time is the earliest you may access the selection site. Please take the time to read and understand this information completely. If you have any questions regarding this process, please visit or call Panther Central as soon as possible. Panther Central is located in the main lobby of Litchfield Towers and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The telephone number is 412-648-1100. UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH Panther Central SPRING MOVE-OUT GUIDE Residence Halls, Apartment-Style Accommodations, and Fraternity Complex As another academic year draws to a close, we’ve Moving Carts prepared this newsletter to help you move out of your Residence Halls on-campus housing accommodation. Moving carts will be available to help make your move-out experience as stress free as possible. In order to rent a cart, you must complete a cart form and return your cart to the cart station Official Closing when you are finished. Please read further for cart station locations All on-campus housing accommodations will officially close at noon and times. on Sunday, May 1, 2016. The Pittsburgh Marathon is also Sunday, Locations and Times May 1 and will result in several street closures in the Oakland area. Seniors must inform Panther Central if they plan to stay this extra night.
