Empowering young people to own their economic success™ Annual Report 2013-2014 of Student Impact

Junior Achievement is a bridge between education and the business world. JA programs empower students to make a connection between what they learn in school and how it can be applied in the real world, enhancing the relevance of their classroom learning and increasing their understanding of the value of staying in school.

“Teaching Junior Achievement was an extremely fulfilling experience. The lessons are very engaging and JA does a fantastic job of highlighting the connection between school curriculum and practical applications. JA programs are highly successful at motivating the students to strive for more.” -Nick Dell’Osso, CFO Corporation

“My incredible journey with Junior Achievement began with JA BizTown® and being elected Mayor for the day while in elementary school. That led to several speaking opportunities about my experience, which allowed me to connect with several key business leaders who helped me get to my current job at BOK Financial. I never would have guessed that being Mayor Abby for the day at JA BizTown® would lead to my first corporate job at BOKF.” Abby Meaders, JA Alumni, and QA Support Analyst for BOK Financial

“I am excited to be able to volunteer with 2013-2014 Program Impact JA! I actually participated in a couple of JA projects when I was in junior high, and it 51,559 Students Reached was a fantastic introduction to basic 3,750 Volunteers Inspired business processes.
