ST PATRICK’S DAY PARADE in Glenamaddy will take place today at 1pm gathering at the Community Centre at 12.30pm. With a great turn out for last years parade both people/floats taking part and spectators we once again appeal to make the year’s parade even more successful and enjoyable. Everyone is welcome to take part in the parade i.e.schools/businesses/clubs/associations/people/vintage cars & tractors.

GLENAMADDY PLAYERS Congratulations to them on receiving 1st in the Roscommon Drama festival along with Best Director Coman Keaveny/Ann Collette Molloy, Best actor Michael Tevenan and Best Supporting Actor Nigel Cassidy. They also received 3rd place in Tubbercurry along with Best stage presentation while Julia Dolan received a scholarship to the DLI summer school. Best of luck to the cast and crew with their production of “Moment” by Deirdre Kinahan on the festival circuit, they will perform Monday 18th March in and their final festival Friday March 22nd in Shercock, Co. Cavan. A performance of the play will take place on Friday 5th April in the Town Hall Theatre Glenamaddy, if you have not yet had a chance to view this award winning show. Booking (086) 2045896. EAST SCHOOL OF MUSIC There will be a concert of students of the music school on Sunday 24th March at 3pm in the Town Hall Theatre Glenamaddy. Instruments to include Button Accordian, Clarinet, Drums, Flute, Guitar, Piano, Saxophone and Violin. All are welcome.

LADIES GAA Good luck to Patricia Keady and the Junior Girls in Glenamaddy Community School in their All Ireland final. Under 8,10,12,& 14 girls training starts outdoor next Tuesday 19th March from 6pm sharp to 7pm, new members welcome. Thanks to all who supported our St Patricks day ribbons for the Carers Association last week, especially Potters & Smiths Gala Williamstown for allowing us to sell them out side their prem- ises. Our Senior league game v Claregalway has been postponed to Wednesday 27th @ 7pm in Glenamaddy.
