JANUARY 22 2019, Singapore - As the month of February continues, so do the events at Zouk Singapore. Stacked with a stellar schedule all through the festive month, highlights include the return of legend, Sven Vath (2 Feb), Craig David’s acclaimed TS5 DJ show presented by Collective Minds (14 Feb), South Korean rapper Okasion (15 Feb), Trance powerhouse Markus Schulz for Transfix (22 Feb), indie-pop phenomenon Poptart (22 Feb), and the crew of Yeti Out’s Tom and Arthur Bray with Hong Kong rapper YoungQueenz (23 Feb) to close the roster.

SATURDAY 2 FEBRUARY: SOULFEED PRESENTS SVEN VATH WITH MAURIZIO SCHMITZ

Revered as a techno legend who led the genre revolution in Germany, Sven Vath started making waves with his unpredictable sound way back since 1981. Fast forward 38 years on his tenure, his chops are better than ever, his sets amplified with each year with that same element of surprise as always. A veteran with monumental influence, the magic of Sven is that can only be experienced in person, and should be at least once in a lifetime. Returning to Zouk grounds on 2nd February, one can only expect the unexpected; as cliché as it sounds.

THURSDAY 14 FEBRUARY: CRAIG DAVID PRESENTED BY COLLECTIVE MINDS

Contributing an integral piece to the soundtrack of many of our teenage/young adults years was just the beginning, within 2018, Craig David managed a feat few artists has ever done - surpassing themselves at their peak. From racking over 290 million streams on his latest album, to the massive sold-out TS5 DJ shows on the biggest stages, his career steering towards a new high. What started out as an intimate house party, Craig’s TS5 is now a global phenomenon famed for his signature treatment of garage, hip-hop belters and of course. his smooth, velvety vocals.

FRIDAY 15 FEBRUARY: OKASIAN (YG – THE BLACK LABEL) WITH GHETTO

Kim Ji-Young aka Okasian is a South Korean rapper and singer signed with YG Entertainment’s sub-label, THE BLACK LABEL. When Okasian starts rapping, it’s a flurry of low drawl and rapid fire delivery. An underground hip-hop veteran known for his collaboration with Keith Ape on ‘It G Ma’, Okasian is also renowned for the many team-ups with other Korean rappers including , Paloalto, and mega-superstars, G-Dragon, CL and BewhY for Korean Hip-hop Awards nominated track, ‘₩ 1,000,000’. Performing live in Phuture for the first time in Singapore on 15 Feb, one should be prepared for a fearsome set of machine-gun fluidity and high energy.

FRIDAY 22 FEBRUARY: TRANSFIX PRESENTS MARKUS SCHULZ WITH ARKHAM KNIGHTS, SUPPORTED BY CHE’MOLLY

With a career spanning close to three decades, Markus remains a legend that is more relevant than ever. Through his highly prominent Global DJ Broadcast radio show, the veteran has been credited as a gargantuan influence in driving the US EDM scene. Over the course of his tenure, his sound and musical identities across various electronic genres has coalesced into a signature aesthetic that has continued to see him gather acclaimed works, sold-out shows, and prolific collaborations. A charismatic performer with a keen understanding of the thrills audiences seek, his upcoming return to Zouk promises a hypnosis of flawless harmony, intuitive tune selection, and melodic pulses.

FRIDAY 22 FEBRUARY: POPTART WITH WEELIKEME & KIDG

It has been more than 10 years since Phuture last witnessed the loud and maniacal nights of Eatmepoptart. In February, the shock jock duo of weelikeme & KidG will punt off the club year with a sneaky return to the room. Bringing their signature take on all things alternative, Eatmepoptart, puppet-mastered alongside new face Hedger, will spread the room with a auspicious hamper filled with indie rock, alternative rock, electro, punk, indietronic, power pop and guilt-edged glitter, in night of cardio and scream-a-longs.

SATURDAY 23 FEBRUARY: RAW EMOTIONS X PHUTURE X YETI OUT FT. TOM & ARTHUR YETI, YOUNG QUEENZ, GHETTO

Twin brothers Thomas and Arthur Bray, aka, Tom and Arthur Bray are two-third of Hong Kong-Shanghai- based music collective, Yeti Out. From what began as a party promoting collective, their portfolio has expanded across the spectrum of underground culture with art shows, clothing brand, creative agency, , and of course, their renowned parties. Credited as influential figures in pushing genres including grime, garage, afrobeat, techno, house and more to challenge the mainstream pleasers, the team has revolutionised the Asian club circuit with their versatility, music curation, and collaborative approach to events

The mastermind behind Wild$tyle Records, YoungQueenz is a Hong Kong-based rapper leading the charge in propelling the DIY rap scene his home ground. A visionaire known for his visceral lyricism, unique delivery and a old school meets new age approach, YoungQueenz prides himself as a creator who is always in search for originality and expression. Despite being in his early 20s, the rapper has already conquered sold out gigs around Asia, and has shared the stage with fellow Asian rap royalty, Rich Chigga, KOHH and more. Bringing with him a repertoire of hard-hitters and chaotic energy, YoungQueenz is set for his Singapore debut at Phuture on 23 February.

Nash D Across Zouk main room and Phuture, the resident all Ghetto & stars will be dishing out the electrifying hits to get LeNERD you on your toes. On the second night at Phuture, Wednesday, 6 TGIW presents Zouk, resident Trap purveyor LeNerd will be joined by February; CNY Ghetto with Phuture Phuture DJ Battle 2018 champ LuqHere, to floor Day 2 Hong feat. Saturday, 23 Mambo Jambo Zouk A national phenomenon and possibly the longest February running party concept in Singapore’s nightlife history, Mambo Jambo was first conceived as a mid- week party targeting virgin partygoers. Over the years, the revelry has evolved into an extraordinary culture of its own with enthusiastic crowds dancing and singing out songs in perfect synchrony to hits yesteryears. It is the night where we showcase the glory of the golden days to the younger generation, the night where we bring together old friends, the night to enjoy, celebrate and create more beautiful memories.

Held TMO (27) every Wednesday at Phuture, look forward to upbeat tunes of the hip-hop genre that will have you bouncing across the floor.

Admission for non-members: To mirror Zouk’s admission Thursdays, 7, Thursday Night Capital Thursday Night Hustle is conceived to poise Capital 14, 21 & 28 Hustle as the go-to spot for a post-work boogie and haven February for old school hip-hop lovers. Helmed by resident DJ, Nash D, the night welcomes a refreshed music direction of unadulterated hip-hop classics. Having headlined several successful hip-hop nights including Sin City and Grizzle Grind Juice, one can expect Nash D to turn it up with an all-night burn of tracks ranging from the favourite throw-backs, to the current dance floor slays.

Anchored as the key ladies night of Capital Zouk, it will quench all thirsts and fuel the highs - All through 11-1am, the ladies can look forward to be pampered with free-flow hours pours and select cocktails, while the gentlemen will be entitled to all-night 1-for-1 deals.

Is a Singapore based show that aims to February supported by showcase and build the local Trap Music and Hip LeNERD Hop Music Community. A monthly instalment with collective of guest DJs from the local community, the upcoming instalment promises an intense session that will leave you heady from non-stop dancing.

Poparazzi 15, 22 January is the new night fashioned after everything glitzy, glamourous and pop. Every Friday, come ready to razzle and the dance crew will be ready to dazzle crowds with live performances and timeless pop tunes for pleasure. Just as its name suggests, there may be occasional celebrity sightings so be ready always to whip out the phones and snap those moments.

Once a month, we’ll be turning up the heat with a super-sized special co-starring THREE time world DJ finalist and veteran, DJ Rattle, as well as fellow top guns from the local and regional hip-hop scene to blaze crowds into motion.
