10:00-11:00: Drill Stations ● John Wall Station: Screen and roll o One player starts with the ball at the top of the key, another plays defense on the player with the ball. A 3rd player will be positioned at the high elbow. The player at the high elbow will be called to set a screen on the defender. The ball handler will come off the screen, and the screener will roll to the basket. Emphasize the communication aspect of a screen. ● Anthony Davis Station: Post-up lessons/Drop-step o Instruct the players on how to properly post-up for a pass. After, set up a line at the baseline, and a line at the 3- line. The coach will stand at the low-. The player at the baseline will post- up the coach at the low-block to receive a pass. Once the player receives the pass, they will perform a drop-step move on the coach. Emphasize using your pivot foot. ● Devin Booker Station: Elbow-to-elbow shooting drill o Set up two cones at each end of the free-throw line. The coach will stand under the basket, while the player begins at either cone. The drill begins when the coach passes to the player. The player will shoot from the cone, and then slide their feet to the other cone to shoot again. A missed shot is - 2, a made shot is +1. If a player gets to +5, they win. If a player gets -10, they lose. Emphasize the importance of shooting percentage. ● DeMarcus Cousins Station: 2 vs. 2- Pit o 2 players will begin as a team under the basket playing “defense”. 2 lines form at the top of the 3-point line and the two players in the front of the line are assigned to a team. One of the players shoots the ball to begin the drill. Once the ball goes up, both teams must box-out and fight for the ball. Winner stays. Emphasize communication on the rebound.

11:15-12:00: Scrimmage ● We will separate the group into 4-6 teams (depending on amount of kids) ● 2 games will run at once. Each game will have a coach assigned to each team, and a referee. ● Questions to ask after games: o Are you playing strong defense? o Are you walking at all during the game?

12:00-12:30 Lunch

12:30-1:00: Talk

1:00-1:45: Swimming o Monitor the kids as they change in the locker-room. Prevent any inappropriate language or contact. Make sure the kids do NOT run around the pool. o For the kids unwilling or unable to swim, they will go outside with a specified coach to play outside.
