The original idea was to tell the story of President Wiggins' legacy Ed & Millie at Campbell, a legacy that spanned over 40 years. But an afternoon spent with "Miss Millie" (just months before her death) changed that plan, and for the better. It became a love story more than anything, providing insight about the couple that even those closest to them hadn't heard before. Each year, many religious denominations and faiths are represented on campus. However, it is expected that all those who attend the University will be sympathetic to its stated purposes. Campbell, as a Baptist affiliated university, is committed to teaching students to think with Christian values as their basic guidelines. Accordingly, it is incumbent upon the University to provide its students with an honor code that, in its observance, makes more nearly possible an environment whereby the student can grow spiritually and morally, as well as intellectually. To perpetuate these Christian ideals and principles, it is the responsibility of each student to maintain a high standard of personal behavior. Thus, once a student matriculates at Campbell University, he/she should demonstrate a willingness to abide by the Honor Code while a member of the student body. Campbell University, Inc. reserves the right to alter the terms and conditions of this handbook without prior notice. The University is Christian-oriented but not sectarian. Each year, many religious denominations and faiths are represented on campus. However, it is expected that all those who attend the University will be sympathetic to its stated purposes. Campbell, as a Baptist affiliated university, is committed to teaching students to think with Christian values as their basic guidelines. Accordingly, it is incumbent upon the University to provide its students with an honor code that, in its observance, makes more nearly possible an environment whereby the student can grow spiritually and morally, as well as intellectually. To perpetuate these Christian ideals and principles, it is the responsibility of each student to maintain a high standard of personal behavior. Thus, once a student matriculates at Campbell University, he/she should demonstrate a willingness to abide by the Honor Code while a member of the student body. It is reviewed and approved by the Administration and represents the official policies, regulations and procedures relating to student housing, student services, student conduct, and other important information for the undergraduate student body.     TUESDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2017 Columbus reigns in the rain in Revere By Gayla Cawley ITEM STAFF REVERE — Spirits remained high during a rain-soaked Colum- bus Day parade on Monday. “The spirits were great,” said Joe Gravellese, aide to Mayor Brian Arrigo. “It stayed dry for the whole beginning of the parade ... Spirits were high along the route (and it was) a pretty good turnout. People were having fun.” Gravellese said he doesn’t think the rain affected the event at all, but there were de nitely a couple of stressful nights leading up to the parade for the administration as far as keeping an eye on the radar. He said rain threatened to cancel the parade, but with the number of bands and entertainment booked, having a rain date was not feasible.
