2013 NADD Convention Registration Instructions

Dear Deacon,

For 2013 NADD is opening its convention to non-member deacons. This is an opportunity for you to meet NADD members and to experience our programming. As a non-member, you are welcome to join us beginning on Wednesday evening, April 10, for the Opening Mass and Welcome Reception then stay for the General Sessions, Workshops, meals, Closing Mass and Closing Banquet. Please refer to the online brochure for more information. Non-member fees are $400 for deacons and $350 for spouses.

Attendees to the NADD convention are asked to register for the convention through the NADD website, NADD.org. The registration process allows you to register for the convention and to pay online by credit card or by check mailed to the NADD office.

You must still book your room at the convention hotel separately from the convention registration. Please call: 800-266-9432 and specify that you are with the NADD Convention to receive the special $112/night rate (which includes taxes). You can also reserve your hotel room by following the link from the website. Reservation cut-off is March 8, 2013.

To register for the convention, go to the NADD.org homepage and click on the words “Deacon as Servant of the New Evangelization” which is located on the left side below the block labeled Convention Registration.

The Convention registration process has three steps:

1. Select the registration type: Non-member and Spouse – or – Non-member only 2. Select the workshops you want to attend and whether you want to take the optional bus trip to Santa Fe on Thursday of convention week. The bus trip is an extra $25 per person. If you have an extra person coming to the Closing Banquet (for someone not registered for the convention) there is an option to buy dinner tickets for $50 each. 3. Make your payment. If paying by check, the registration process will summarize your charges and indicate the amount due to NADD. If paying by credit card, PayPal will handle the transaction.
