The brainchild Board of Directors of the Civic's Executive Director Michael D. Mitchell, and adminis­ tered by Daniel Kurek, Artistic Associate for Musical and Educational Programming, it provides educational enrichment experiences for Michael E. McMath \ Aire theatre goers. Leslie Hormann, the Drama Resources faculty President member at Ward Elementary School acts as coordinator for the Carolyn Pictor twenty Fort Wayne Community School's. Vice President Margaret Harden Each year, at least one free performance of each Season offering is given for participating students. These performances are President Elect preceded by a "preview" in the classroom featuring artists and Civic Denise Lapsley staff. Copies of scripts and curriculum guides are made available to Secretary teachers. After the performance the cast assembles on stage for a Talk-Back session with the student audience. Charles R. Brianne McCavitt is making her debut on the Civic stage in Hans Christian Andersen. She has appeared at Center Stage in both Annie and My Fair Lady. Brianne is a student at Immanuel Christian Lutheran where she in the sixth grade. Zachary McCoy is a favorite with Civic audiences and returns after last appearing in the role of Jem in last season's To Kill a Mockingbird. Zach has appeared in productions with Youtheatre and in Huntington. Matt McCoy is appearing for the first time on the Civic Stage. He played a "munchkin" in South Side High School's production of Wizard of Oz this fall. Matt currently attends Summit Elementary Fine Arts Magnet School where he is in the first grade. Joshua Osbun returns to the Civic stage after last being seen in Auntie Mame. Josh was in this season's Evita as well as playing the role of John in last season's family classic Peter Pan. Ben Ottenweller makes his Civic debut in Hans Christian Andersen. Ben's favorite role is the Pied Piper which he performed under the direction of Harvey Cocks for Fort Wayne Youtheatre. Ben attends Portage Middle School. Meghan Pollard is a new face to the Civic Theatre. She is "trying" acting for the first time. Currently Meghan attends St. John's and is in the second grade. Maria Schaffer is making her debut with the Civic Theatre in Hans Christian Andersen, Maria has danced with the Dance Collective and performed the role of the King in Alice in Wonderland at Interlochen, Kristin Schlichter is in the sixth grade at Blackhawk where she is on the spelling team. She is appearing for the first time on the Civic stage. Tony Sirk attends Huntington North High School. This is his first time on the Civic stage.
