Preliminary Study – Bled Sustainable tourism Intercultural integration PRELIMINARY STUDY BLED Building active citizenship for sustainable Alpine Communities Future EU Challenges Accessibility (Germany) Lead Partner (Werfenweng, Austria) Forni di Sopra Bled Municipality Moena Municipality Municipality (Slovenia) (Italy) (Italy) 1.1 The history of the Municipality The first wave of settlement of Slavic populations in Bled dates back to the 17th century, while the second is from the 9th to the 10th century. The findings that testify to the first colonization illustrate the culture of the Slavic state of King Samo (632-658) and the ancient traditions of these places. After the Slavic waves period, these regions passed first under Franks domination. In 1004, the German Emperor Henry II donated to Albuino, bishop of Brixen, Bled and the surrounding area, the territory between the two branches of the river Sava, and in 1011 he donated to Albuino also the Castle. In 1558 Herbert VII of Turriaco (Habsburg) assumed, as a new tenant, the administration of the Castle of Bled. In the period 1809 to 1813 Bled was integrated into the Illyrian Provinces, dominated by Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, to return to the control of the Austrian Emperor, who returned Bled to the Bishop of Briksen in 1838. During the Second World War, Bled was the seat of the German military occupation of the military and civilian government and in 1960 it obtained the status of a city. THE COMMUNITY COMMUNITY 1/3 THE GEMS – Integration and Solidarity European Models for Sustainability 1.2 The geography of the Municipality The Municipality is situated on the southern slopes of the Caravanche mountain near the border with Austria, about 50 km northwest of the capital, Ljubljana. To the south of Lake Bled are situated the forests of Pokljuka and Jelovica. Lake Bled is about 2.12 km long and 500 m to 1 km wide. During the summer the water also reaches 25 ° C and maintains a temperature of about 18 ° C in the autumn. During the winter time Bled has numerous facilities and ski slopes and in summer time it’s possible to ride bike itineraries and trekking activities with alpine guides. ØBled has a great culinary culture and traditional products are very important to know the local tradition and habit. Janka Benedika Radovljica Delavnica LEPOTE SLOVENIJE BLED Bled z okolico in naravnimi lepotami je eno najlepših alpskih letovišč, značilno po blagem, zdravilnem podnebju in termalni jezerski vodi. Lepota gora odseva v jezerski gladini, sonce, mir in svež zrak vzbujajo izredno prijetne občutke obiskovalcev v vsakem letnem času in zagotavljajo idealne razmere za prijeten oddih ali dejavne počitnice. Bled privablja poslovneže, umetnike, športnike, raziskovalce, rekreativce, stare in mlade, ljudi z vsega sveta. Z lepoto jih očara in prepriča, da se vedno radi vračajo. Ime Bled se v srednjeveških pisnih virih omenja v nemški obliki Veldes. OSNOVNI PODATKI Nadmorska višina 501m, višina grajskega hriba 604m, višina hriba Straža 646m. Število prebivalcev čez 11.000. Turistična zmogljivost 4.000 ležišč. Nadmorska višina jezera 475m, dolžina 2.120 m, širina 1.380 m, površina 144ha, največja globina 30,6 m, najvišja letna temperatura vode je 26 °C. ZDRAVILNA VODA Termalni vrelci, ki so zajeti v treh plavalnih bazenih Grand hotela Toplice (23°C) in hotelov Park in Golf (28° - voda je ogrevana), omogočajo poleg prijetnega kopanja tudi uspešno zdravljenje menedžerskih bolezni, izčrpanosti, nevrovegetativnih motenj in starostne onemoglosti. Blejski termalni vrelci so razporejeni ob vzhodni strani jezera v polkrogu od severa proti jugu. Bilo jih je sedem štirje pa so uporabni. Na Bledu se je zdravljenje z vodo začelo v davni preteklosti. Pisci pogosto navajajo Valvasorjevo pripoved o dobro obiskanih vrelcih in o tem, da je dal grajski oskrbnik Krištof Weidmann del vrelcev uničiti, da bi se znebil pogostih obiskov gospode, ki jo je moral gostiti.

K prodaji predmetnega zemljišča (na obeh straneh ceste) se je Občina Bled zavezala v izvensodni poravnavi sklenjeni dne 30.11.2007, s katero sta tožnik Julijan Črv in tožena stranka Občina Bled zaključila postopek pred sodiščem (zadeva opr. št.: N 36/2007) in na podlagi katere je bila možna izvedba zunanje ureditve: parkirišča pri ZD Bled. Točko je obravnavala Komisija za ravnanje s stvarnim premoženjem občine. Sklepi komisije: - Komisija predlaga, da se zemljišča parc. št. 317/5 k.o.
