Directions to Most Common Athletic Venues

We hope this Directory is a benefit to all who will be traveling to cheer on and support our athletes. As you look through the directory, there are a few things to keep in mind:

(1) This is a listing of the “MOST” Common venues we will partici- pate at in sports. There may be venues, especially during playoffs, that are not included in this directory. If this should happen, the school office will email the directions to all FHS families and then consider adding that venue to this directory if that venue becomes more frequent. (2) Each venue has a street address or location that can be pro- grammed into your GPS or searched on-line. The directions given are from FHS, so you may want to develop directions from your home or place of work using the information we provide. (3) Depending on the sport and season, games may occur at various locations on the opposing school’s campus or at a location off the school campus. Please be sure to consult the Athletic Schedule published prior to each season to find out where the event is being held. (4) Copies of this directory are free and available at the FHS Office, or may be emailed by request. Directories are updated once a year or as needed depending on changing venues. (5) Various schools may or may not charge an admission fee for their event. Please be prepared to pay an admission fee for ALL events. Normally, inside events such as Basketball, Volleyball and Indoor Track will require an admission fee. ALL playoff events will charge an admission fee. Expect to pay $3-$5 per person depending on the event and venue. Some venues offer student and family discounts. (6) Game (event) cancellations: Should there be a game or event cancellation, the school office will email all families in the FHS email database as soon as the information is available. We ask that parents who are concerned about a game or event cancellation, wait for the email notification. If one is not received by 2pm of that day, you may call the school office after 2pm. Students will be informed over the school PA System and given the opportunity to contact parents to make transportation arrangements. If the weath- er conditions are serious enough to cancel ALL after school activi- ties, sports events on and off the FHS campus will be included in the cancellations. Cancellations of this nature will be announced on the local media outlets. Please consult the FHS Student Hand- book for a listing of these stations.

______481 North to Kirkville Road exit. Take Kirkville Road West and go through the first intersection. Bishop Grimes is immediately past the in- ______tersection on the right. Enter the gym from the parking lot behind the school. Fields are behind the school.

Take the exit for Newport ______Road. Turn right onto Newport. Go about 3 miles on Newport (this will include a right hand turn—stay on Newport—at about 2 miles).Turn right on Warners Road/Route 173.
