Yet, Turkey, with its economy still growing, albeit to a lesser extent than in previous years, continued to distinguish itself as a successful, important and attractive country to invest in, not only in its region but in the world. In a year when global mergers and acquisitions volume slowed down, Turkey also experienced a slight decrease in transaction volume but reached a record high in terms of the number of deals.
