Hundreds of tourists have enjoyed a waterside encounters with the giants as the Tasman Island Cruises out of Eaglehawk Neck have been regularly booked out. The whales have enjoyed resting in the coastal waters off the Peninsula as they migrate from Queensland with their young to find krill in the Southern Ocean.
