Dear Community Members:

Councilwoman Jan Perry ( City Council District 9) and Metro invite you to a community meeting and workshop on the Los Angeles County Congestion Reduction Demonstration Program, a partnership venture of Metro and Caltrans and other mobility partners. The meeting will highlight potential concepts and operational improvements along Adams Blvd. The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

I. Welcome & Introductions (Councilwoman Jan Perry)

II Transit Improvements Plus Introduction to Tolled Lanes (Stephanie Wiggins, Executive Officer, Metro)

III. Adams Blvd Area Improvements Workshop (Metro)

Metro is considering various options to try to improve the traffic near the I-110 HOV off-ramp to Adams Boulevard. The improvements under consideration include the addition of a right turn lane at the Adams Blvd off-ramp and a right turn lane on Adams Blvd between the off-ramp and Flower Street. Construction of a new pedestrian plaza across the I-110 freeway just north of Adams Blvd. is also under consideration. These improvements are also vital components to the efficient operation and reliability of the improved transit service which will be introduced by Metro.
