Bay Street Theater was founded in 1991 by Sybil Christopher, Stephen Hamilton, and Emma Walton Hamilton. Gary Hygom, Producer, joined the team in 1998; Tracy Mitchell, Executive Director, came on board in 2008. In the Fall of 2013, Scott Schwartz, Artistic Director, joined the team to begin his premiere season with Bay Street in 2014. In 2016, Bay Street will celebrate its 25th Anniversary.
