Fred Gabrielli began Gala Catering while working at the Remington Hotel in Houston, Texas in 1982. One day a neighbor asked if he would be interested in catering a small TV show being filmed there. Fred catered the show and it was a success! Film companies began to hear about Gala Catering and its’ great food, hard work and professional service. Soon after the Company was hired to do its’ first full length feature “Robot Cop I”. It was not long before Gala began building the trademark name known throughout the Film Industry today. We have the keen capability of working with productions to receive appropriate tax credits as a local catering company in the states of Texas, Michigan, Louisiana, New Mexico and Georgia. Gala Catering has one philosophy “Stay Small and Provide the Best Food and Service Possible”. After 27 years, over 300 Feature Films and thousands of hours worked our love for Film and Catering is greater than ever!
