** Spouses, family members and friends are encouraged to accompany hunters as guests during their stay. A flat rate of $2,000 for a 3- day hunt or $3,000 for a 5-day hunt will be charged for each non-hunting guest sharing a room with a hunting guest (except for youth who share a room with a parent hunter). Guests who accompany a hunter and require a separate room are subject to regular rates.

What is included and not included • Hunts include all license fees, lodging, meals, full guide service, game skinning and selected amenities available at the time of your stay. • Rates do not include alcoholic beverages, Company Store purchases or customary gratuities to hospitality staff an d guides. • Basic meat processing IS included in the hunt fee. • Late arrivals or early departures are subject to the full booking fee. No refunds or discounts are offered.

General Terms and Conditions • Hunt packages on Vermejo Park Ranch are considered “booked” when a 50% deposit of the total price of the package is on file with our Reservations Desk.

• A grace period of 10-business days is allowed from the date the invoice is issued to pay the deposit to the Reservations Desk via credit card. • • The total hunt cost is due by May 31 of the calendar year of the hunt. (January 31 for turkey hunts). • • Hunt reservations not paid in full by May 31 (January 31 for turkey) of the calendar year of the hunt will be canceled and resold. Hunts booked after May 31 (January 31 for turkey), for the same calendar year require full payment.

• Individuals booking for multiple hunters will be required to notify in writing additional hunter names, and payment instructions (email is sufficient). All persons paying will be held to this deposit policy. Only those in the party who have a confirmed deposit will be booked and only those with full payment as per Vermejo policy will be granted hunting privileges.

• Hunts are not booked more than two years in advance and are subject to the deposit policy listed above.

• Dates and rates are subject to change, however, the price at the time of booking will be honored if a 50% deposit has been received. Exceptions to this policy are made at the sole discretion of Vermejo Park Ranch management on a case by case basis. • Exceptions to the policies listed above are made at the sole discretion of management.

Cancelations and Refunds In the event of a cancellation, refunds of deposit are available under the following circumstances:

• Cancellations made prior to May 31: refund of deposit is available, minus a 15% administrative fee. (January 31 for Turkey Hunts)

• Cancellations made after May 31: no refund of deposit is available. (January 31 for Turkey Hunts)

• Vermejo no longer transfers deposits or reservations to subsequent years. Refunds of deposit overages are made at time of departure.

• Exceptions to this policy are made at the sole discretion of Vermejo Park Ranch management on a case by case basis.

Meat Processing and Taxidermy

A custom meat processor (Cinnamon Creek Wild Game Processing of Ft. Worth, TX) will be on -site during the Pronghorn, archery, premium rifle, and management hunts. They will skin/cape and offer basic processing of your animal as part of the cost of your hunt. Basic processing includes steaks, roasts, stew meat and hamburger. If you would like for them to process and ship your game meat and/or ship your hide and antlers they can do so for an additional fee paid to the processor. They can also arrange to have your taxidermy work done at Alpine Taxidermy (Ft. Worth, TX).
