People caught breaching alcohol laws will be in big trouble. • If you or anyone near you is in distress contact security or St Johns immediately. • An information booth is on site to help you with any queries. • The distribution of unauthorised promotional material, including stickers is expressly prohibited and will lead to expulsion from the site. • Crowd surfing and stage diving are strictly prohibited and are dangerous to others. • Disorderly conduct or refusing reasonable security requests will result in expulsion. • Don’t experiment with drugs as large crowds can really freak you out. Drugs are illegal on and off the site. • No pass outs are available. • PUBLIC TRANSPORT INFORMATION • BDO recommends you take public transport to the Big Day Out.. • BUS The BDO Bus is a continuous service departing Real Groovy Records from 9.15am through 2.00pm. A return service commences from 9.30pm from Gate B. This service runs until everyone has gone home and runs directly to The St James Theatre. Cost $5.00 each way – tickets available on the day from the fat controller. • TRAIN This year the train run on the southern, eastern and western lines. The Southern service will start from Papakura and run directly to Penrose Station. The Western service starts at Waitakere Station. The Eastern service will cover Glen Innes, Meadowbank, Panmure and Orakei. A return service will commence at 9.30pm and run both South and West with the last train departing Penrose at 12.30am.
