We already have a Navigation Center. We already have a Bridge Home that doesn't get used to capacity. The City has already approved Permanent Supportive housing. When you consider that there are communities that don't have a Navigation center or even 1 Bridge Home it is time for those communities to step up and do their fair share as opposed to relocating large masses into our one small community. We are a disadvantaged community of color, with a high immigrant population and the city is taking advantage of us and favoring more affluent communities! Petition Against All Homeless Housing Projects in Wilmington, CA To: Local Elected Officials, Committees, Boards, Developers and Service Providers I oppose the Permanent Supportive Housing proposed at 1355 Avalon Blvd., 56 units in Wilmington.
