Notice is hereby given of the meeting of the Leisure and Amenities Committee to be held at the Parish Hall on 2017. Tuesday 12th September 2017 commencing at 7pm

2. Disclosures and Registration of Interest Members are requested to declare any personal and /or prejudicial interests that they may have in matters to be considered at this meeting in accordance with the Local Authorities Code of Conduct Order ( ) Order 2008.

3. Public Break ( members of the public are only allowed to speak during this break and not at any other time during the meeting )

4. Events 2018 To resolve if the Council are to hold the following events in 2018 - date , venue, caterer 1. Senior Citizens Evening of Entertainment- date , venue and caterer 2. Kidney Wales Walk for Life- date and venue 3. Garden and Allotment Competition - date

5.Footway Lighting To resolve to replace the lanterns in either the Parish Hall Car Park or the Footpath leading from the office to the Primary school.

6.Play area Parc Nant Celyn To receive x 3 Quotes to replace the toddler unit in Parc Nant Celyn .

7.Newsletter To approve the draft newsletter to be sent to all residents .

8. The Dell Play Area To receive an email from Cllr L Hooper re: equipment at the Dell Play Area.

9. New Bus Shelters Soip Y Coed and Neuadd Dowlais Community Centre To resolve if the Council are to place new shelter at these sites .

10. Parish Hall Roof To receive an update from the chairman on the vandalism and the repairs to the roof .

11. Christmas Events 2017 To resolve if there is to be a charge for tickets for Male Voice Choir and for the Ice Skating.

12.Remembrance service To note that the remembrance service will be held on Sunday 12th November at St Illtyds Chuch followed by a short service at the Parish Hall.

13. Walking festival ( Joint Community Council event ) To receive a proposal from Community Council to work collaboratively together on this even.t

14. Christmas Trees To resolve if the Council are to place a Xmas tree on the Parish Hall this year.
