NOTICE INVITING QUOTATION NO. 04 (Four) of 2020-2021 OF THE ASSISTANT ENGINEER, FALTA E.P.Z HIGHWAT SUB-DIVISION, PUBLIC WORKS (ROADS) DIRECTORATE.

Sealed quotations are hereby invited from resourceful, bonafide, experience, surveying and Consulting Engineering Firm having requisite experience for taking up similar nature of jobs as detailed below:

1 NAME OF WORK : As per Annexure of rate quoted sheet for SL. No 1 & 2.

2. The intending quotationer will have to quote their rates in their specified schedule of items, will be available from the Departmental Website (http;//www.pwdwb,in) at free of cost along with self- attested photo copy of PAN Card, ITR/AY 2019-20/2020-21, P.Tax Receipt, GST Registration Certificate, Valid Trade License.

3. The rates are inclusive of all taxes, charges and will have to be submitted at this office.

4. The quotationers are required to quote their rates both in figures as well as in words for per km basis, considering the work as mentioned. 5. As per Labour Department’s Notification No. 1182-IR dated. 20.09.05, 1% (One percent) cess of construction work shall be deducted from the bill of Contractor and remitted to the “West Bengal Building and other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board”.

6. The quotations in sealed cover will be received by the undersigned within 22.12.2020 upto 2:00 P.M. and will be opened on 22.12.2020 at 2:30 P.M. in presence of the quotationers or their authorized representatives. Who intend to remain present at the time of opening.

7. Time of completion of the work within 20 (Twenty) days from the date of issue of Work Order.

8. The lowest quotationers will have to deposit earnest Money @ 2%(Two) Percent in the shape of B.C./ B.D. of any Nationalized Bank and/or listed Bank as per ORDER OF FINANCE DEPARTMENT (AUDIT BRANCH ), GOVT. OF W. B. VIDE No-9668-F(Y), dated 30.11.2012 in favour of the “:Executive Engineer, Diamond Harbour Highway Division, P.W.(Roads) Directorate”, payable at Diamond Harbour at the time of execution of the Formal Agreement in WBF No.2911 (i)/(ii) in triplicate within 07 (Seven) days from the date of issue of Work Order.

9. The undersigned would reserve the right to accept or reject any of the quotations without assigning any reasons thereof. 10. Credential amount minimum 40% for similar nature of work enclosed with the quotation. 11 The quotationers before quotating their rates should acquaint themselves with the site condition. 12 The work is to be completed within the stipulated time. 13 If any date is specified in the N.I.Q. falls on Holiday or any other occasion, declared holiday the corresponding dates will be considered/reckoned the next working day/days. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION FOR PREPARATION OF DETAILED PROJECT REPORT FOR THE ROAD STRETCH FOR SL. NO-1

1. Reconnaissance survey should be carried out to assess feasibility of the Project proposal. (Ponds , CD structures and other side structures etc. are to be shown in Strip Plan).

2. The Agency should collect the details data of existing bridge and culvert and made suggest for necessary improvement of reconstruction.

3. On the basis of pavement condition survey and photographs, the agency should design the proposed road structure and the data shall be incorporated in the D.P.R. as per IRC SP 72- 2015 and/or IRC SP 62-2014. D.P.R. for the road stretches under investigation shall be prepared and submitted in 6(six) hard copies, also as soft copy in Pen Drive.

4. Details estimate shall also be prepared and incorporated in the D.P.R. for entire road stretches. D.P.R. shall include:

a. Report b. Pavement Condition Survey c. Photographs in CD’s. d. General Abstract of Cost e. Bill of Quantities f. Quantity Estimate g. Analysis of Rate h. Strip Plan of Project Road i. Typical Cross Sections j. Earthwork Calculation basis. k. Other drawings as per Project requirements l. Reference.
