After immigration, please pickup your own baggage from the carousel and go thru customs. We will then proceed to board the chartered bus to TOKYO, IKEBUKURO. Arrive at SUNSHINE CITY PRINCE HOTEL for a 5 night stay with daily breakfast included. There is a FAMILY MART CONVENIENCE STORE located in the lobby, open 24 hours. This hotel is connected to Sunshine City, a shopping mall. In the complex you will find an aquarium, planetarium, Namco Namjatown (indoor theme park made up of many different attractions & food theme parks), and shopping centers – ALPHA. & ALTA. 6:00p.m. After check-in, “Welcome” dinner at the hotel. Monday, March 22nd Tokyo City Tour______6:30-8:15a.m. Breakfast at the hotel. 9:00a.m. First stop, TSUKIJI OUTER MARKET, Japan’s “FOOD TOWN” where one can encounter all kinds of Japanese traditional foods. A mixture of wholesale and retail shops along the numerous restaurants, new culinary trends are born here. Lunch on your own at Tsukiji. 12:00p.m. Colorful ASAKUSA KANNON TEMPLE, where incense fills the air and colorful stalls of the Nakamise Arcade, join visitors and locals who come to shop for souvenirs and gifts. 2:00p.m. UENO PARK , one of Tokyo's most popular and lively cherry blossom spots with more than 1000 cherry trees lining its central pathway.

Our first stop shop will be to MARUYASU STORE, cheapest place to buy individually wrapped scallops. MARUYASU STORE also has TIRAMISU CHOCOLATES, SOFT DRIED IKA & TAKO.

Maruyasu does have some things to sample just ask. KASHI no NIKI maybe one of Ameyoko’s most famous vendors. They have been in business since 1947, a large discount shop for sweets and candies. 5:00p.m. Arrive back to Sunshine City Prince Hotel. ( B )

Tuesday, March 23rd Tokyo City Tour______6:30-8:15a.m. Breakfast at the hotel. 8:45a.m. Bus departs for TOKYO CITY TOUR, drive by NATIONAL DIET BUILDING, IMPERIAL PALACE PLAZA, and AKASAKA PALACE. 10:45a.m. Visiting TOKYO TOWER, observation deck with a 360 degree view of the city. TOKYO TOWER is 1093 ft. tall, making it the world’s highest self-supporting steel tower and the 2nd tallest man-made structure in Japan. As of 2011, Tokyo Skytree (2080 ft) is the tallest TV antenna tower in Japan. Lunch on your own at TOKYO TOWER FOOD COURT.

Imperial Palace Plaza Akasaka Palace (Genhinkan) Tokyo Tower 2:30p.m. Last stop, EDO TOKYO MUSEUM, a facility to preserve the historical heritage of Edo –Tokyo (opened on April 2018 after 8 months of renovations). 5:00p.m. Return back to Ikebukuro, Sunshine City Prince Hotel. The rest of your day is at your leisure. Or Nadine can take you on a short tour of ALPA, ALTA, and Seiyu Supermarket. On the B1 floor, famous freshly made crepes at “Mother’s Crepe”, gelato at“Dipper Dan” ,famous Marukame Udon, Ringer Hut’s famous “Sarada Udon”. Restaurants on the 3rd Floor like famous TONKATSU WAKO, known for their “Filet Katsu(Pork Tenderloin)”. Not far from Sunshine City is Seiyu Supermarket which is opened 24hours. ( B )

Wednesday, March 24th Tokyo – Yokohama – Tokyo______6:30-8:15a.m. Breakfast at the hotel. 8:45a.m. 1 day TOUR of YOKOHAMA CITY. 9:45a.m. YOKOHAMA NISSIN CUP NOODLE MUSEUM, the museum shows the 40 year history of the product as well as the founder’s creativity by exhibiting 3,000 kinds of cup noodle packages. You will have the opportunity to make your own original Cup Noodle.

12:15p.m. Lunch at local restaurant. 2:00p.m. STRAWBERRY PARK in Yokohama Industrial Zone opened in April 2018. 3:00p.m. Last stop, SANKEIEN GARDEN, spacious Japanese garden with historical buildings from Kyoto and Kamakura. In Spring, you can see over 300 cherry blossom trees in the garden. 5:30p.m. Arrive back to Ikebukuro at the Sunshine City Prince Hotel. ( B, L )

( B ) ** around your hotel area ** Few minutes away is TOKYU HANDS, filled with variety of high quality Japan products from stationary, bags, character themed goods to livingware. One of the biggest UNIQLO, clothing store.

Or Nadine can take you to SUGAMO, “Senior Citizen Harajuku” this shopping street is lined by over 200 shops that sell clothing, traditional food and other goods marketed toward the elderly. Among the most popular items is the district's signature red underwear, which comes in a variety of styles and is thought to bring luck. To go to Sugamo, we will take the “Toden Arakawa (cable car) , the only Toden tram line left in Tokyo, which runs 12.2km (30 stations). 1-way from Higashi Ikebukuro to Koshinzuka Tram Stop: 170Yen per person For return we will take the “Yamanote Line” to Ikebukuro Station, 1 way 160Yen per person.

Friday, March 26th Tokyo – Okinawa ______Breakfast at the hotel 9:00a.m. Baggage outside your room for pickup by the hotel belldesk. 9:45a.m. Check-out of the hotel. 10:00a.m. Depart hotel on chartered bus to TOKYO/ HANEDA AIRPORT, TERMINAL#1. 11:10a.m. Arrive TOKYO/ HANEDA AIRPORT, TERMINAL #1. Upon arrival, check-in at JAPAN AIRLINES. After checking in, you will have some time to buy snacks, drinks, & etc. Liquids or drinks are allowed thru Security prior to getting to your departure gate, please show your liquids or drinks to the security agent, they have a liquid analyzer machine to check the contents. 11:45a.m. Depart Tokyo/ Haneda on Japan Airlines Flt.#915 bound for Naha, Okinawa. No meals will be served on the domestic flight. 2:40p.m. Arrive Naha, Okinawa. At Naha Airport, please pickup your own baggage. For your convience, please use the baggage cart for your luggage. We will proceed straight to our awaiting chartered bus at the Group Bus Parking Lot. 3:45p.m. Check in at HOTEL PALM ROYAL NAHA for 5 nights stay. The hotel is located near Kokusai Dori and near the entrance of famous HEIWA DORI. The hotel is less than 15 minutes away from the Monorail, Yui Rail – Makishi Station. Coin laundry facility on the 2nd floor. So bring your own laundry detergent and fabric softener. Ice Machine on the 2nd floor. Newly built onsen bath on the 2nd floor for men and women separate. 6:30p.m. Depart for “WELCOME” OKINAWAN DINNER SHOW at URASHIMA DINNER THEATRE in Kume. Saturday, March 27th Naha - Southern Okinawa - Naha______7:00 - 8:15a.m. Breakfast at the hotel. 8:30a.m. Bus departs for the Southern portion of Okinawa. We will visit GYOKUSENDO PARK, which features a large underground stalactite grotto and an exhibit on poisonous Okinawa “Habu” (snakes). Upon arrival, enter Gyokusendo Cave. It takes about 25-30 minutes to walk through the cave. .

After exiting the cave it will lead you to the tropical garden and Ryukyu Village. 10:30a.m. Watch an Eisa dance performance by local students at the cultural stage, located near the 2nd floor of the gift shop (20 minute performance). 11:30a.m. Buffet lunch (Okinawan food) at Gyokusendo restaurant located on the 2nd floor above the gift shop. 12:30p.m. After lunch, free time to shop around, go back to the cultural village or you might want to see the Eisa dance performance again at 12:30p.m. Check-out Dr. Fish inside the Ryukyu Village: cost: 5 min: 600 yen per person/ 15 min: 1200 yen per person

Enjoy fresh strawberry picking & tasting experience in Okinawa. 3:30p.m. Arrive at OKINAWA PREFECTURAL PEACE MUSEUM, which opened on April 1st 2000. The museum is divided into 4 sections: “The Road to the Battle of Okinawa”, “Okinawan on the Battlefield”, “Room of Testimony” and “From the Refugee Camps”. Next walk freely to the CORNERSTONE OF PEACE (Heiwa no Ishiji). It is inscribed with names of each individual, who lost their life in the Battle of Okinawa. 5:30p.m. Arrival back at HOTEL PALM ROYAL NAHA. The rest of the evening at your leisure. ( B , L )

Sunday, March 28th Naha - Northern Okinawa – Naha _ 7:00 - 8:15a.m Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will go to the northern part of Okinawa called “ YANBARU”. 8:30a.m Bus departs for NORTHERN TOUR of OKINAWA. Will make one 5-4-4(Go-Shi-shi) stop at the Igei Service Area on the tollway. 10:30a.m MORI NO GARASU (RYUKYU GLASS FACTORY), here you will experience how to blow and make your own glass cup.

Ryukyu Glass Making My Glass Churaumi Aquarium 11:15a.m. Bus departs for CHURAUMI AQUARIUM in Motobu. Churaumi means beautiful ocean in Okinawan dialect. This aquarium features the world’s largest acrylic panel, which is sure to dazzle you with exotic and colorful fishes, whale sharks and manta rays. Be sure to ask the aquarium staff for a re-entry stamp before you leave the aquarium. Dolphin Show (1:00p.m.) at Okichan theatre, which is a few minutes by foot from the aquarium. Lunch at your own expense. Near the aquarium is the oceanview restaurant “INOH” which serves buffet style Okinawan Food with asst. dessert & drinks included (1520yen per person or senior citizen 65yrs old or over is 1190yen per person). Or try “OCEAN BLUE CAFE” located on the 1st floor of the aquarium near the window of the Kuroshio Tank, serving Spaghetti Napolitano, Taco Rice, Taco Sandwich & drinks. There is also a snack bar located in the “Park Center” near the Okichan Theater & Dolphin Lagoon serving Okinawan Soba, Curry Rice, Taco Rice, American Dog & more. 2:30p.m. Meet the group at the”CENTRAL GATE SNACK BAR”. We will go as a group to the bus parking area. 2:35p.m. Last stop, will be to KOURI ISLAND, part of Nakajin Village. Kouri Island and Yagaji Island are connected with a bridge (2020 meters long or 1.4 miles long). KOURI OCEAN TOWER has a panoramic view that is fascinating. Original sweets made from specialty produce of Kouri Island. Kouri Ocean Tower's original character goods

are on sale. Within the shop, you can observe where the pumpkin sweets “Cabonee” are sold exclusively on Kouri Island. Famous Pineapple Charcoal Soap too.

Bridge connected to Kouri Island Cabonee Manju Pineapple Charcoal Soap 4:30p.m. Bus departs for NAHA with a stop 5-4-4- break at NAKAGUSUKU SERVICE AREA. 6:30p.m. Bus arrives back at HOTEL PALM ROYAL NAHA. Evening is free. ( B )

Monday, March 29th Naha – Shuri – Tomigusuku - Naha 6:30-8:45a.m. Buffet breakfast at the hotel located on the 1st floor near the elevator. 9:00a.m. Bus departs for SHURI CASTLE. Shuri was the ancient capitol of the Ryukyu Kingdom. Visiting the “SHUREI NO MON” (Gate of Courtesy). In 1972 this gate was designated as a prefectural cultural asset. The main buildings of Shuri Castle were destroyed by fire in the night of October 31, 2019. There are plans to rebuild the castle by 2026. In the meantime, we can still go to the Shuri Castle Shops with exclusive gifts. 11:45a.m. We will then visit HIMEYURI NO TO (Star Lily Memorial). The monument was erected in remembrance of the female high school students who supported the Japanese military as nurses but were killed during the Battle of Okinawa. We will also tour the HIMEYURI PEACE MUSEUM.

Shurei no Mon Shuri Castle Original Gifts Items Yubido Lunch Chuko Awamori Shop 12:30p.m. Makunouchi Bento Lunch at YUBIDO, the restaurant/gift shop located across the museum. 2:00p.m. CHUKO AWAMORI FACTORY. The only distillery in Okinawa that creates its own unique earthware jars. Other awamori to be found in bottle are the nicely flavored “Chuko” and the smooth ” Jinpu”. The factory has a video with English subtitles of Okinawa Awamori and you will be given an opportunity to taste different samples of awamori and umeshu (plum wine). 4:00p.m. Return to hotel. Rest of the day is free at your leisure. Nadine will take anyone who is interested in going to Heiwa Doori and to MATSUMOTO SHOTEN for KONBU, SHITAKE(Mushroom), SUSHI NORI, AJITSUKE NORI, KANPYOU(dried gourd), SHAVED KATSUO, DRIED WAKAME, HOUSE ORIGINAL “KATSUO JERKY” w/QB Mayonnaise, & etc. (B, L)

After check in procedures, you are free to roam around the airport or get something to eat. GENERAL CONDITIONS for Tours to Okinawa & Japan

TOUR INCLUDES: Hotel accommodations, transfers, sightseeing, and round trip air transportation from Honolulu, economy seating. Adjustments will be made if there is an increase in taxes, fuel surcharges and any fluctuation in exchange rates between US Dollar and Japanese Yen.

AIR TRANSPORTATION: Air service within tours is included except for members purchasing the land portion only. Airfare inclusive rates are based on advanced purchase and may be subject to certain airline restrictions and penalties. Air tickets must be issued at least 30 days before departure and any changes after tickets are issued will require a minimum service charge of $500.00USD or more and a processing fee. Tickets are non-endorsable, non-transferable and refund and/or changes must be processed through issuing agent less applicable charges. Special group fares are used and there are some restrictions which apply regarding Travel Certificates, Mileage Upgrade Certificates, etc. Adjustments will be made if there is any increase on taxes and fuel surcharges.

MEALS: Meals included are noted on the brochure or itineraries. All other meals are the responsibility of the individual. Meal codes are: B – Breakfast, L – Lunch, D – Dinner.

RESERVATIONS & DEPOSITS: Reservations should be made as soon as possible by filling out the application form and sending a deposit of $100.00 per person (CASH OR CHECK only). Reservations are based on a first come first serve basis. Returned check fee of $25.00 per check.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: To protect against cancellation charges, optional travel insurance (cancellation, health, luggage) is recommended and is available thru N & K Travel. Call for more details. MILEAGE: N & K Travel will input the mileage number given on your tour form to the airline, however, we will not be responsible for missing credit(s). Also, if you are not a member of mileage program, we will not be responsible for your enrollment.

PASSPORTS: All clients are reminded that a valid passport is necessary in all cases. The cost of obtaining these documents will be the responsibility of the traveler. The organizer assumes no responsibility whatsoever, should a client, for any reason be refused entry into any particular country, and the subsequent costs entailed will have to be met by traveler in accordance with obligations that the organizer has in virtue of the contracts held with third parties. Passport must be valid within 6 months at time of departure. A photo copy of your passport is require for all tours.

CHANGES IN ITINERARIES: N & K Travel Service, Inc. will make every effort to operate all tours as disclosed in this document. However, circumstances may arise which would require an adjustment to the tour. We will however do all that is possible to avoid such changes, but we must reserve the right to make such modifications if they are determined to be necessary.

GRATUITIES: Gratuities for the bilingual local guide, bus driver & guide are not included. The recommended gratuity for the local Japanese-English Speaking Guide is 500 Yen per person per day and for the bus driver that will be with the group, 2 days or more, 250 Yen per person per day.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE: Due to limited storage space on the motorcoach, we request that you carry only one piece of luggage and one hand carry-on bag per person during the tour. For Takkyubin (door to door delivery service during the tour), one piece of luggage will not be charged. Any additional pieces will be assessed additional fee(s). You will be allowed to check-in two pieces of luggage on your return flight home.
