Harris is one of New Orleans’ rising stars and most talented trombonists, and has already brought his music to major festivals and clubs worldwide. Specializing in the jazz & blues of the 1930s through 1950s, but also in traditional and modern jazz, Mr Harris’ talents have earned him prestigious residencies with Dr Michael White, Shannon Powell, Marcus Roberts and also the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra. He also regularly collaborates with many more of New Orleans’ greatest artists, as his unwavering dedication to the art form earns him repeated accolades from the city's standard-bearers. Mr Harris’ quartet bridges the traditional and modern, the New Orleans and NewYork, the past and future.
