Foundation stone laid for Tourism Infrastructure Project in Mangeshi , September 5, 2018 Bhadra 14, 1940

Minister for Art and Culture, Shri. Govind Gaude in presence of Chairman of Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) Shri. Nilesh Cabral laid the foundation stone for Development of Tourism Infrastructure at Mangeshi, in . Sarpanch of Veling Priol VP Shri. Laxmikant Khedekar, Panch Smt. Sanjana Gaude, Zilla Panchayat (ZP) member Shri. Shivdas Gaude, Sarpanch of Betki khandola VP Shri. Dilip Naik, Sarpanch of Bhoma VP Shri. Sunil Bhomkar, Chairman of ST corporation Shri. Durgadas Gaude and Chairman of Mangesh Devasthan Shri. C.V. Dhume were present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Minister Shri Gaude emphasised on the importance of cleanliness. "The projects built by the Government are for public benefit and the public must retain its sanctity. Let us all unite to keep our village clean. The much awaited project will be an asset to our village," Shri. Gaude said. The Minister also announced that the foundation stone for Mardol Police Station will be laid soon. Shri Nilesh Cabral advised people to keep dustbins in their shops so as to maintain cleanliness. The much awaited project which is tendered to M/S Ashoka Developers and Infrastructure is aimed to be completed in 6 months and is estimated to cost Rs. 6, 87,74,175. It contains a parking plaza for 70 four wheelers and 25 two wheelers, shopping complex comprises of 63 shops, toilets for ladies, gents, specially abled persons with changing rooms, lockers, other amenities and Sewage treatment plant for the above units.
