TT Road Races 2015

ROADS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC

Notice is given that the Department of Infrastructure has made Orders under the Road Races Act 1982 & the Highways Act 1986. The Tourist Trophy Road Races Order 2015 permits the Promoters to hold practices, races and parades during the TT Festival period. If weather or other circumstances require races, practices or parades to be delayed or postponed then crossing points may be open under the control of Marshals at such times as the Clerk of the Course may specify.

1. ONE WAY ON THE A18 MOUNTAIN ROAD The A18 Mountain Road will be closed from Barrule Park, Ramsey to Creg-ny-Baa between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm on Friday 29 May 2015 and will then re-open to ONE WAY traffic from the Ramsey Hairpin to the Creg ny Baa for the whole TT period until 9.30 am on Monday 15 June 2015 when it will close for the removal of signs and re-open at 4.30 pm to TWO WAY traffic.

2. ROADS CLOSED The A18 Mountain Road from Barrule Park, Ramsey to the Bungalow will close ONE HOUR and 15 MINUTES before the closure of the remainder of the TT course during Practice Week and FORTY FIVE MINUTES before the closure of the remainder of the TT course during Race Week (Bungalow to Creg-ny-Baa will close 15 MINUTES later than this time), and again after completion of ALL PRACTICES AND RACES for a further period of up to ONE HOUR, and re-open to traffic as a one-way road.

The main roads known as the TT COURSE will be CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC for the 2015 TT Practices, Parades and Races as follows –

3. DELAYED AND POSTPONED RACES - In the event of adverse weather 6.
