Planes De Comidas En Disney PLANES DE COMIDAS EN DISNEY Los más de 150 restaurantes existentes fronteras adentro de Walt Disney World Resort tienen varias características comunes: son mágicos en su ambiente y tematización, ofrecen comida de muy buena a excelente calidad, y son relativamente costosos. Para disfrutarlos, Disney ofrece dos variantes a sus visitantes, el clásico pago de la cuenta al momento de comer o la adquisición de un plan prepago de pensión, accesorio a nuestro paquete que, mediante un sistema de créditos, nos permitirá disfrutar de toda la extensión de sitios culinarios del complejo en la mayoría de las comidas durante la estadía. Sólo quienes contraten un paquete vacacional pueden acceder al Disney Dining Plan, es decir debemos adquirir simultáneamente hotel y tickets para poder agregar el plan a nuestro paquete. Quedan afuera entonces de la posibilidad de contratar el dining plan: 1) Quienes se hospeden fuera de Disney 2) Quienes, aún hospedándose dentro, opten por contratar sólo habitación de un Hotel disney, adquiriendo los tickets por separado. Al contratar nuestro paquete, si decidimos agregar la opción Dining Plan en alguna de sus variantes, cada miembro de nuestro grupo tendrá la posibilidad de comer en la gran mayoría de los restaurantes de Disney World. Los restaurantes a los que podremos acceder con el plan de comidas están ubicados dentro de los cuatro parques temáticos principales (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios y Animal Kingdom), los tres parques temáticos secundarios (Typhon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach y Disney Quest), de Downtown Disney, en nuestro hotel y en todos los demás hoteles de Walt Disney World Resort. Es decir, todo Walt Disney World Resort. La cantidad de créditos para comer en esos restaurantes será proporcional a la extensión de nuestra estadía y también recibiremos una cantidad de "Snacks" también proporcional a la duración del viaje. 1-DISNEY DINING PLAN El Dining Plan "a secas" o "regular" asigna a cada miembro de nuestro grupo una comida de mesa por noche de estadía, una comida de mostrador por noche de estadía y un snack por noche de estadía. Además un Mug rellenable para cada miembro del grupo mayor a 3 años. Las comidas de mesa no incluyen la propina. Los niños deben pedir su comida del menú infantil cuando este disponible. Los menores de 3 años no pueden contratar dining plan pero se les permitirá compartir del plato de sus padres. 2-QUICK SERVICE DINING PLAN El Quick Service Dining Plan es más simple porque sólo utiliza comidas de servicio rápido: asigna a cada miembro de nuestro grupo dos comidas de servicio de mostrador (Quick Service o servicio rápido) por día, un snack por día y un vaso rellenable por persona para bebidas ilimitadas dentro del hotel de nuestra estadía. Los menores de 3 años tampoco pueden contratar este plan. Si bien Disney publicita entre las condiciones de este plan que los niños deben comer menú infantil cuando esté disponible, en la práctica el sistema no efectiviza la limitación y podrán comer con los créditos del niño tanto menú infantil como adulto. El menor de 3 años deberá compartir del plato de sus padres o deberán pagarse aparte las comidas que consuma. TIPS IMPORTANTES Ø Para contratar el Dining Plan debemos incluirlo en un paquete Magic Your Way, es decir elegir un hotel de Disney y adicionarle tickets por al menos un día de admisión. A dicho paquete podemos agregarle el plan y se transformará en nuestro Magic Your Way Package Plus Dining. Los hoteles asociados a Disney pero que no son de su propiedad como el Swan y el Dolphin no acceden a esta posibilidad. Ø Por cada integrante de nuestro grupo mayor a tres años se nos entregará el primer día una tarjeta celeste que Disney ha llamado “Key to the World”, estas tarjetas sirven para entrar a nuestra habitación, entrar a los parques conforme los tickets que hayamos comprado, y “pagar” con créditos en los restaurantes si optamos por el Dining plan. La información que contienen es única para todo el grupo y no divididos por tarjeta, por lo tanto todos los créditos se restan del total en cada tarjeta a medida que se van usando. Ø El Mug rellenable que está incluido en el Quick Service Dining Plan puede ser usado tanto para bebidas frías como gaseosas como para bebidas calientes como café o leche o chocolatada, siempre dentro de nuestro hotel. Todos las estaciones de rellenado tienen canillas para lavar el vaso una vez usado. El Mug puede ser muy útil al desayuno para tomar un Café acompañado de un Snack o para reemplazar la bebida del almuerzo o la cena (si optamos por comer en el hotel) y reservar la botella cerrada incluida en esa comida para luego llevarla al parque y usarla en otro momento. Ø Si optamos por contratar el plan, debemos hacerlo para todo nuestro grupo. Es decir un grupo de 4 personas no pueden contratar dos planes sino que sus opciones son plan para todos o plan para ninguno. La única excepción es si nuestro grupo cuenta con un pequeñito de 3 años o menos quien no accede al plan aunque puede compartir del resto. Ø Los dos planes más populares están diseñados para cubrir dos comidas y uno o dos snacks por día. Esto deja, al menos, una comida sin cubrir. La sugerencia es desayunar liviano, en el hotel, usando el Mug (si no lo tenemos incluido en el plan puede adquirirse) y un snack como un pastelito, tostada o croissant gigante y luego sí utilizar los dos créditos para el almuerzo y la cena. Ø No pueden cambiarse, por ejemplo, dos quick service por un table service o tres snacks por un quick service. Sin embargo a la inversa, aunque de manera no oficial, sí se permite el último día reemplazar un table service por un quick service o un quick service por hasta 3 snacks para llevar. Ø Si bien los menores de 9 años deben elegir el menú infantil cuando está disponible, lo cierto es que Disney es flexible con esta regla en lo que a comidas Quick Service se refiere. En este tipo de restaurantes podremos usar los créditos de los chicos en combos de adultos sin problemas. En los Table Service sí debemos optar por menú infantil. Ø Los créditos pueden usarse de la manera en que nuestro grupo lo decida: por ejemplo si tenemos el Dining Plan regular podemos elegir desayunar en Table Service, almorzar en quick service y cenar en otro Table Service usando 3 créditos en un solo día. También podemos pasar un día sin usar los créditos y ninguno se perderá, todos mantienen vigencia hasta la media noche del día de nuestro check out. Ø Si al final de nuestra estadía nos han sobrado créditos de quick service o snacks podemos pedirlos para llevar en el viaje de regreso a casa. Simplemente elijan todos los snacks pendientes juntos o soliciten en su hotel que le empaqueten la comida elegida y la podrán disfrutar luego durante el día. Ø Todos los planes incluyen un vaso de recuerdo que puedes volver usar cuantas veces desees durante tu estadía. Ø Bebidas alcohólicas no están incluidas en el plan. Ø En la mayoría de los casos, las propinas tampoco están incluidas.
