Niagara Falls Canada September 13-16, 2022

Day 1….Off we go……. Sit back, relax and enjoy the early autumn scenery as we make our way to Niagara Falls, , Canada. Rest stops and meal breaks are on your own today. Tonight we check in at at our Niagara Falls area hotel.

Day 2….We start our day with a step-on guide sharing the beautiful attractions in the area. Tavel along the Parkway and throughout the city viewing scenic points of interest as well as stopping at the mighty Niagara Falls, Floral Clock and Whirlpool. We will also get the opportunity to take a Tour Behind the Falls and journey deep below and behind the heart of Niagara and stand in the mist where the mighty Horeshoe Falls tumbles from 13 stories above. The sound is like thunder--the sight awe inspiring! Mid-afternoon we will enjoy the Hornblower Niagara Cruise. You may have seen the Falls before but you’ve never seen them quite like this. Hold onto your heart and keep your eyes wide open because you’re in for the thrill of a lifetime! The legendary Niagara Falls boat tour takes you as close as possible to the thundering roar, awesome power, and amazing mist of the Mighty Falls! Dinner this evening is at Table Rock Restaurant at the brink of the Canadian Falls. Back to the hotel for some zzzz’s. (B,D)

Day 3…Breakfast is included at our hotel before departing this morning. We will visit Niagara-On-The-Lake, the first capital of Ontario, a well-preserved 19th-century village. Our day will include a stop at Welland Shipping Canal with our guide explaining how the locks work. The Welland Canal connects Lake Ontario and Lake Erie and forms a key section of the St. Lawrence Seaway. A stop at one of the local wineries to enjoy tour and tasting is included this afternoon. Ontario is Canada’s biggest wine-production area, most of it on the Niagara Peninsula. It considers itself a relatively new wine region, even though vines like native American labrusca and hybrids were planted about 150 years ago. Dinner this evening is included at the Revolving Dining Room at the Skylon Tower. (B, D)
