DIVERTION OF GANESH IDOLS OVER 10 FEET HEIGHT FROM METTUGUDA ROUTE TO SEETHAPHAL MANDI ROUTE IN VIEW OF GANESH IDOLS IMMERSSIONS-2019

In view of the Immersion of Ganesh Idols on 12-09-2019, to facilitate smooth movement of Ganesh Idols going for immersion the following diversions will be done. 1. A foot over bridge has been erected near Railway Officers club, Mettuguda (Between and Mettuguda Metro station) with 16 feet height. As such, it is not possible to pass Ganesh Idols over 10 feet height. Hence, only below 10 feet Ganesh idols towards Tarnaka from Mettuguda side should come.

2. The Ganesh organizers of , Lalapet, Mizalaguda and areas are advised to take following alternate routes to immerse their Ganesh idols:

I. The Ganesh organizers of Lallaguda, Lalapet, Mizalaguda and Malkajgiri may immerse their Ganesh Idols at Mini Tank bund at lake or lake.

II. The Ganesh organizers of Lallaguda, Lalapet, Mizalaguda and Malkajgiri who intend to immerse their Ganesh Idols at Tank bund should take the following route : ZTS - HB colony – Noma Function hall – Mallapur – – x roads – Tarnaka – left toward Osmania University – right turn Seethaphal mandi flyover – – Gandhi Hospital – – RTC X Roads – Narayanaguda X Roads – Himayathnagar ‘Y’ junction – Liberty - Tank bund.

All the Ganesh Festival Organizers of above areas are requested to take note of above and plan movements accordingly.

PD ACT INVOKED AGAINST DINESH SINGH S/O LATE ESHWAR LAL, DRUG OFFENDER, ASIFNAGAR POLICE STATION, WEST ZONE, HYDERABAD

Sri Anjani Kumar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City issued preventive detention order under Act No.1 of 1986 against Dinesh Singh s/o late Eshwar Lal, Drug Offender of Asifnagar Police Station on 26.8.2019.

Dinesh Singh s/o Late Eshwar Lal, aged about 39 years, Occ: General Store Business, r/o H.No.13-1-1099, Balramgalli, Upper , Mangalhat, Hyderabad committed 7 cases of peddling of Narcotic Drugs and a case of wrongful restraint and assaulting a Govt. Servant while discharging his legitimate duties in the limits of Hyderabad Police Commissionerate. His illegal and highly dangerous activities in peddling of Narcotic Drugs among the innocent people in Hyderabad City have been endangering the lives of youth and innocent people, causing irreparable damage to their body organs including the Central Nervous System, thereby crippling the mental and physical health of the people addicted to drugs.

Asifnagar Police arrested the accused Dinesh Singh on 9.6.2019 while peddling “Ganja” (Cannabis) in Cr.No.157/2019 U/s 8 (c) r/w 20 (b) (ii) (C) of NDPS Act of Asifnagar Police Station. The Preventive Detention Order was executed on him on 26.8.2019 and he was lodged in Central Prison, , Hyderabad.
