Open enrollment – November 9 through November 20, 2020 – is your annual opportunity to review your benefit options for the coming year. During open enrollment, you can decide to keep the coverage you currently have or make changes, such as switching to another medical or dental plan option, adding a dependent to your coverage or stop participating in the health plans. If you miss the open enrollment deadline, you generally can’t make any changes until the next open enrollment period in the fall of 2021 for 2022 benefits. Any changes you make to your benefits coverage during open enrollment take effect 1, 2021.

how to make open enrollment elections The 2021 Enrollment or Change form is included with this letter and is posted online at hr2chevron.com/OpenEnrollment. 2021 benefit highlights Your current PRSI coverage will continue for the new plan year, through 31, 2021.

medical, dental and vision  Cigna Health and Life Insurance Company (Cigna) will continue to administer your medical, dental and vision benefits.  The new monthly costs for 2021 are enclosed and posted online. - The monthly cost for medical coverage is generally increasing by approximately 5 percent. - The monthly cost for dental and vision coverage is not changing.  There are no changes to plan choices, features, or coverage for 2021.  2021 Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBCs) for each of your medical plan choices are posted online. Review the SBCs for summary information about medical benefits, copayments, deductibles, coinsurance and plan contact information. life and accident insurance  Prudential Insurance Company of America (Prudential) will continue to administer your life and accident insurance benefits.  Summary information about these benefits, including cost of coverage, are posted online.

do i need to enroll?  If you want to keep the same coverage that you have today, no enrollment is required. Your benefits will automatically continue in 2021.  If you want to start, stop or change your medical, dental, or vision plan, enrollment is required.  If you want to add or drop a dependent to your coverage, enrollment is required.  If you want to apply for, increase or decrease your life or accident insurance coverage, enrollment is required.

experience a family change or life event? Don’t forget that you can make changes to certain benefits during the year if you experience a qualifying life event, such as a marriage, divorce or birth. You have 31days from the date of the event to report the change and make updates to your benefits, if necessary.
