2017-18 PROGRAM GUIDE 14 STATION MEMBERS

HPR members are the extraordinary individuals, families, organizations and businesses whose annual contributions make possible the station’s work in our community. Space prevents us from listing all 13,200 of our current membership, but we are proud to introduce here the Cornerstone Society, station friends who give $1,000 or more annually to support station programming and operations. We invite you to join this special group whose contributions are helping to ensure the quality and vitality of HPR’s work. Gifts listed below were received between January and December 2016.

1 7 HAWAI‘ I PUBLIC RADIO Program Underwriters, Foundations

HPR is truly locally managed and locally funded, a critical function of our independence. Aside from the individuals who contribute to HPR’s operating funds, the single outstanding group of HPR supporters are the program underwriters and foundations who support the programming not only with financial generosity but choose to affiliate their names with the public radio community. Together, the members, underwriters and foundations make up 94% of HPR’s support, and we are very grateful to every one of them.
